The RST Shop – By Jack Christopher

By Jack Christopher MBE

Loyal Rangers supporters have opened their own glorious shop the Sons of Struth William continue to boycott official club company outlets.

The Rangers Supporters Trust will now offer fans an incredible chance to buy club company team-themed merchandise at the non-Catholic school across from the stadium and the ingenious scheme could be rolled out to other organisations such as the Orange Order, Ku Klux Klan and UKIP to raise funds for the club company team RST.

Some profits from the sales will be used to invest in a future share issue being championed by Rangers saviour Mr King while a significant proportion will be used to purchase Mark Dingwall a supersize royal blue mankini.

The settlement of the £5m loan to Ashley will see Rangers’ key assets like Murray Park, Edmiston House and the Loving Cup returned to the club and mean the evil Sports Direct owner will no longer have control over their registered trademarks.

An RST spokesman told the Day Late Ranger: “Look, we only do what Mr King tells us. It’s simple, just like us. If he asked us to sit in a corner all day and fart we’d do it. Well Mark would anyway”.

“If you want to see your money going towards the club company just give it to us and we’ll look after it. It will be sitting nice and safe next to the fighting fund and our brand sparkling new angry bucket”.

“We are selling good stuff for £20 and making a tenners profit that will go into a secret fund. This is a good way of getting money to us in cash that is hard to trace and easy to transfer around from pocket to pocket thus cutting out the middle man. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink how’s your mother?

“The message has got to get through to those idiot Rangers supporters that if you buy official merchandise it hurts Rangers and helps us. It really is that simple.

“The next message is We are the People, every other club in Scotland is to blame for our problems and you are gullible fools if you believe a word we say. Please edit the last line out Chris”.

Do we expect they will pay the vat and tax either income or corporation tax on the sales………….or will they stay true to form and pay nether

Mike Annis

But it saves nothing. The contract they have with Sports Direct is for a set amount of merchandise and they pay for them spld or not. So the more “unsold” means less capital input and the same capital output. Some numptie agreed this deal and the rest of the numpties don’t get ut and will cost their club even more. Brilliant.

Wonder if they will start selling Sevcos at ‘2 furra poun’ as in buy one get one free? Or some ‘feeshel’ Dave King gonks with the wobbly eyes?

Back to our club i cant get off on how miserable it is for rangers old or new. Probably get pelters for this but both clubs have symbiotically ensured two decent teams in europe over the decades and theit decline has weakened celtic no end. Dont get me wrong i hate the bastards as well but id rather hate them four or more times a year gubbing them and hurting them where it hurts most. Nothing like an old firm game. Ive been to many befor emigrating here in oz and remember getting a lift over at the rangers end by a hun with my scarf hidden. That was The day of the ibrox disaster i remember johnstone scoring and stein equalizing. I remember a lot of more positive times where these two historical giants played out bruising and entertaining encounters. I hate them gone beating them is fun. And these are the games that will bring the class players back to scotland .

You may wish to lump UKIP in with Rangers due to their ‘little Englander’ mindset, but UKIP want out of Europe and there ain’t no club in these isles better at getting out of Europe than Celtic.

Rangers are dead and they killed themselves. We now have a chance to build a new kind of league minus the elephant in the room. Times change we must move on. Sevco is likely to go bust and we need to look at the other teams in Scotland to build a new order. I do not miss Rangers and I am very happy they are gone. Sevco will make me happy when it goes bust and the vile bigoted hoards that follow it have to find somewhere else to be superior! Let’s not perpetuate the old firm myth here. It’s over let’s move on. If you miss Rangers them seek medical advice

Charlie Saiz

Reply to  mike

Those scoring stats ae not skewed they highlight the fact we are not losing any of the potency up front by playing this new system.
Hence me saying “makes for an interesting debate no?”
Now we can talk about the fantasy realm of 2angers all night but personally I think they occupy to much mental space in some Tims nappers?
Hence a wee curve ball to a debate that’s been raging for almost 2 years now and resufaced this week again in the papers.. Cascarino & Wilson
I have pulled Monti up on more than a few occasions now for trolling me in debates.
When I seen his comment I simply replied “Went fishing..caught nowt'”
Which was a direct reference to Monti trying to bait a response.
He knows this is fact we have spoken briefly about these things before.
Hope that finally clears up the fact I personally don’t go fishing but even less so on a wet shitey day.
I agree on some of what Monti says we are not a million miles apart when it comes to the direction this Board has us going in.
We both agree that’s where the real issue lies,I have even offered up a solution.
We don’t agree on Deila and we have a difference of opinion on tactics.
No big deal.

Charlie Saiz,Thanks for sharing that.
Im always suspicious of stats, they can reflect anything that the author wishes.
I never ever discuss them they are totally irrelevant to me.Montis views sometimes reflect my own but not always.
I want Celtic in the C.L. with a little investment that has been and will be acheivable.
There are various solutions to acheiving that but i will leave that for now, disapointed that you dont fish, spoilt the image.

Happy Birthday Monti! I haven’t had much time to read EVERYTHING yet, but don’t forget Stewart Milne was practically bankrupted by his wife and has been trying to build a new 30,000 seater stadium in the outskirts of Aberdeen for a decade. So he can turn Dung-Heap into flats for oil workers. I would imagine that the corruption in Aberdeen City Council (run by Masons) could have him over a barrel because they won’t give him planning permission for his next enterprise unless he helps out their favorite new club.

Charlie Saiz published facts about scoring that tell us that playing with one Striker has had no effect on how many goals we score – we still score the same as using two or three strikers. There is no possible argument there expect that playing one striker has resulted in scoring as many goals as playing more than one striker. So that is one myth that is gone

Monti

Reply to  Broxburnbhoy

Monti

Reply to  iancelt67

The bottom line mate is this, Celtic as a TEAM weren’t up to it this year, it isn’t just defensively inept, or over independent on Griffiths, the midfield passing was woeful at times, a lot of times.

As a team effort, very poor for a Celtic side!

Charlie Saiz
Reply to  iancelt67

The debate has been as to whether we should deploy 2 strikers up front in Scotland on the Domestic front not whether we should play 1 or 2 strikers in Europe.
Hence why the stats reflect this.
Monti rightly states that our problems have lay with the defence and inept performances in Europe.
That has not been down to the System that has been down to inability of those asked to perform as we know they can having not done so.
I wrote a piece for the Diary covering the aspect of defence but unfortunately due to Ralph being busy elsewhere it never got put up.

iancelt67

I think t he coach overestimated the swuads ability to adapt to s new system. Bilton arguably our best player was sometimes looking for a age for a lead. None was offering resulting in a lot of sideways passing. Givimg the opposition ample time to regroup and nullify any threats and when in posssession the opposition found space to score because the shape of the team wasnt right . This is my “you are the boss” moment. In saying this there were periods of dominance especially in the malmo but in the final analysis i agree with monti the team wasnt up to it

I think malmo was a good draw for anyone and celtic and even better one.

You mad about ETims or just plain mad? Why not buy the t-shirt at http://etims.spreadshirt.co.uk/
