This weekend around we try for An ex Celts special
No bookies were harmed in the making of this Article!
Everton v Southampton
Davie Moyes’ Evertons in great unbeaten league form versus Danny Fox, Joos Hooiveld and Artur Borucs Southampton who are smiling after gubbing Paul Lamberts Aston Villa. At home, the Toffee men will surely be able to clinically see this one out against the Sieve of Southampton despite the Saints doing well up at the other end of the pitch so far this season. MOYES Win
Sunderland v Wigan
Martin vs Heid, Maloney ( and woulda shouldabeen James McCarthy). If Peter Lawwells favourite striker Steven Fletcher has his boots on ( 4 goals from 4 attempts) then unbeaten League draw specialists Sunderland should finally win in a lucky 13th game. martinez’s Wigan will be trying hard as usual though and Wigan have won here before but Heid and pals just cant keep the ball out the net. MON Win
Aston Villa v West Brom ( Sunday)
Lambo versus ( surely a Celtic fan!) Steve Clarke. Truly the epitome of an intriguing contest. No Shay Given for Lambos Villa who are having a right Jekyll and Hyde run at the moment, beating Man City in the Cup but getting cuffed by Southampton last weekend. Clarkes West Brom ( with “Im a bit of a Rangers fan” James Morrison battling through an injury) are playing good football and sitting in the Top 6. It has to be noted that Broms achievements are mostly due to impeccable home form. Given the erratic nature of Villa combined with West Broms away form, this looks good for a share of the spoils. DRAW
Cardiff vs Blackpool
Malky Mckay and Craig Bellamy vs Barry Ferguhun. Now you’re talking Bothwell Chinese Takeaway fights! Its been pretty even stephen ( with a ph) between these two sides over the last wee while and both came down to earth with a bump recently with defeats to Crystal Palace and Huddersfield respectively. Cardiff though havent been beaten at home and will need to be at their best to beat high scoring Blackpool. This sounds like its got a draw written all over it! DRAW
Theres no need to be greedy after all
1/2 Everton Win
11/10 Sunderland Win
5/2 Cardiff Draw
9/4 Aston Villa Draw
The odds work out at over 35/1 and you could always perm any 3 from 4 and all 4 for still a healthy Accumulator with a good chance of return.
The Bonkers bet…stick it all on a Euromillions and pray that it might just be you.
Other than that,
I was tempted to suggest perming in the 9/4 for a penalty at Motherwell which seems a good bet to follow over the 90 minutes but hate tempting fate and one goes against us.
I’d suggest a small flutter on Wanyama or Mulgrew to score first goal against Motherwell, or maybe even sneak in before the bookies get wise and lump on big Ambrose to knock home first at Fir Park from a lovely Commons set piece.
If you want a true Bonkers bet, back Rangers to keep a clean sheet!
Please gamble responsibly, there arent covers on the Bookies windows for nowt!
