Hi Guys & Emilio….

Bain 7 one good save from Kent but nearly sold the jerseys with awful clearance, a number 2 at best.

Kenny 6 – Fvck knows what he was doing passing the ball back? You just fkn knew it was a goal.
Welsh 7 Steady & composed.
Ajer 7 Consistent 7-8 in most games.
Laxalt 9 fkn outstanding.

Christie 5 average again v the filth
Turnbull 6 decent but not enough from him today.
Brown – 7 steady enough.
McGregor – 6 decent but didn’t hurt them enough.

Elyounoussi 8 good goal & could have got one or two more.

Edouard 7 looked in the mood but needs support, unlucky not to get the penalty.

Kennedy 5 Tactically didn’t send the team out to get at them from the off, substitutions cane too late.

* Goid to see James Forrest back & getting some match sharpness.

Overall disappointed not to beat them today.

Edouard 7, your havin’ a laff, he was woeful, the difference between winning and drawing was woeful finishing!!

On another point, it’s scary to see David Turnbull (who most fans want the team built round, indeed I want to see him here for several years) getting done for pace from Steven Davis!!

Any quality in our forward play involved Eddy, but similar to your treatment of Forrest you seem to be blinded by your own prejudice

So your happy for him to miss chance after chance(has happened many times thus season), more often than not has gotten too greedy and loses possession, interestingly when others do the same they get castigated. The plain reason for not winning yesterday’s game was missing chance after chance, and unfortunately Eddy was at the top of the list.

You obviously don’t have a clue sunshine. You said he was woeful and that was not the case. Yes he may well have scored but that’s football. McGregor made a couple of decent saves from Edouard attempts and he should have done better with a header in the second half, but you say he was woeful and that was certainly not the case.

Good call but a few additions: Kenny was awful and never once headed for the byline – always passing back or at best sideways really slowing things down. We focussed on the left side only, but a football park has two sides for a reason. Not enough from Calmac, Turnbull and Christie – again. Eddie had a lot of support but he’s just not good enough these days. Give Kennedy the job, you must be kidding. This is what he said yesterday post match: ““I don’t want to be overly-critical (about set pieces), it’s something that’s given us a few problems this year, something we’re well aware of. But we just have to face up to that and fix it.” The only thing that will fix things is a new manager and coaches.

Just to clarify: someone on the podcast – the Irish guy – said give Kennedy the job, not Monti that said it. See my comment below.

I would rather have 11 players who would run through brick walls to play for the jersey.
Some of them are out there, not very expensive and available.
Just make sure you get the right manager that knows the game, he is key.

Total pish. The whole team looked like lightweights, not built for the rigours of the Scottish League. Was Kenny thanking gerrard for his sweeties while at Everton? The Celtic side look like part of the family not wanting to upset the rest of the clan at a wedding, plenty of lippy on show, no fight or desire. Ely man of the match? He looks like a player who knows the next step is anoniminity in Saints reserves along with Duffy. Yes Mike, a good solid manger who demands respect, or are we going to continue to be goody-two-shoes who enjoy coming second. Agree with broony over racism, but is the two camps in agreement a sign of the things to come? Never been so dispondant over a derby before, even when there was an old-firm. HH!

Elyounoussi scored and had a decent first half, second half disappeared, certainly not man of the match.

Thank you. Bit like his time at Celtic. I am no footba’ manager, but I cannot think of any top team he would play for and talent is no enough. I must simply kill you to lose. Hide the cat, (sorry cat lovers, just making a point), unbareable bad mood till the next game and actually give a damn. Like Chrusties, sorry Christies constant misses. Are you kicked out of the training ground or can you stay on for extras and work untill you can do no more to perfect that talent, or are all players so busy respecting each other, they think they can do no wrong? being hooked off should be a disgrace on the whole, not high 5’s all round. Why is Grif no fit SEVEN PISHING MONTHS after he turned up fat? I just do not get it. HH!

why on earth would anyone give kennedy the job?

is this the same people that wanted to continue with lennon?

Reply to  bgbhoy

I wasn’t advocating he get the job, just pointing out that he may be in a stronger position than many folk think. What’s he done wrong to rule him out?

Agreed.

Talks a good game but a former defender who doesn’t know how to defend against set pieces for YEARS ON END shouldn’t be in any kind of job in football unless putting the cones out and getting the balls out the hedge.

Just for the record, i don’t want Kennedy as the manager!

Can’t see why. Oh he is too soft, no idea. Putting on a fat Grif, who is still fat SEVEN PISHING MONTHS after turning up, well fat, on with 2 minutes on the clock, players no sharp, Gerrards groupies playing for us at right back, slight sad looks rather than pishing mad after non-achieving. I just do no get it. HH!

I think Griff’s depressed again and Lennon was too depressed himself to notice and Kennedy too self obsessed to care.

And whatever happened to our other lump of lard ae a striker, Ajeti?

He looked promising at the start then he looked like he was trying to outdo Morelos for Fattest Arse In Scottish Fitba.

Where’s he?

Yesterday was the same old, same old. Their defence is crap goalie saves them. But Celtic are powderpuff. McGregor gets praise, but he is poor, let him go to the Foxes. Christie runs about, why? He is shocking. As for the two full backs, Kenny, no wonder he cannot get a game for Everyone. Laxalt is not a defender, he was the left back. Look at his positioning for the goal.
Yesterday Celtic and JPK contrived to make the Wankers look good, that they achieved. There are too many lightweights also JPK is spineless and not a leader. Can you imagine Stein, Shankly or Busby not going through that team at half time. The game was finished as Celtic drifted into the Twilight zone.
The substitutions were a farce, too too late, a bit like sourcing a replacement manager

John Kennedy should have some role to play at Celtic, maybe in the development squad.
Nowhere near the first team though.

Kennedy was considered not good enough for Hibs or Dundee United.

Surely tae feck we’re not going to give the fulltime gig to their cast-off?

Think he is reasonably articulate in interview. Talks a bit of sense. Puzzled by his decisions not to bring subs on earlier. However he set his stall out to dominate the so called champions he’s not a mug. He is a caretaker manager without the latitude to do things his own way in such a short time. Seems to have improved the team post Lennon.

The only role Peter’s mole should have at Celtic after Lawwell’s gone is making the ham rolls after training.

He should go elsewhere to earn his managerial kudos.

If he does 10 years or so of successful stints of increasing level of competition then perhaps he could be considered.

We don’t pull people out of the stands to play, so why do we take that approach for a manager.

We’ve got too many old bhoys given coaching jobs without experience (is Brown next in line?) and it does my nut in.

We have enough money and rep to get a good quality coach and that’s what we should be doing.

Let the old bhoys make reputations for themselves elsewhere and only then should they be given jobs at Celtic.

Fergal Harkin? Never heard of him. Shall he be what we have been missing for 19 years? Heres hoping.

With regards to a Manager? That decision is in the hands of the PLC.(Someone just walked over my grave)
