Celtic Diary Thursday August 12: Let’s Make This A Night To Remember

For once, Celtic go into a European qualifier confident of progression, and it’s been a long time since we felt like that. A 4-2 lead from the first leg against Jablonec should be a fairly decent cushion to see the tie out, even if Ange Postecoglou decides to recall Scott Bain.

Not that i’n trying to put ideas into his head.

With more difficult games to come, I’d imagine the boss is more interested in getting a settled defence into some sort of routine, and therefore swapsy goalies will be a thing of the past.

As he said himself…

“I doubt there will be any complacency. I reckon when they walk out and see the 60,000, anyone who’s feeling a bit complacent will get snapped out of it quickly. The players understand where it’s at.

“When we didn’t win in the first couple of games, such as Hearts and Midtjylland, I still felt those performances were okay. So we didn’t get too down, and at the same time, the last two results haven’t meant we’ve got too far ahead of ourselves.

‘We’re still at the stage of embedding in our principles and getting the players to really believe in them. I think tonight’s a great opportunity for us to progress that.’

“There’s been no complacency in preparing for the game and I haven’t sensed complacency in anyone in the camp, because we just can’t afford to have too many missteps in this early part of the season.

“We want to try to keep hopefully developing our football. We’d like to think there would never be any complacency, but there’s no reason for it to be there now.”

“And there’ll be no more swapsy goalies “

However, the main attraction tonight will be the supporters, as Celtic Park is sold out as there is a move toward normality after the worst of the pandemic appears to be behind us.

It will be a memorable occasion, and an emotional one.

There will be a minutes silence for those no longer with us, and for a crowd that is noted for its raw emotion, that may prove to be a little, well, emotional.

Whilst glasgow rivals “rangers ” aren’t overly comfortable playing in front of their support, Celtic positively thrive on it, and it’s little wonder that Jablonec manager, Petr Rada, is a little peturbed at the prospect of facing a passionate Celtic Park atmosphere.

Shortly after the first game, he said;

The tie is now all about our players not being too frightened next week.

“If you don’t play European football every season and have played a season without any fans and suddenly 60,000 supporters come to your match, it’s not going to be easy.

“The prospect is giving me even more wrinkles on my head.

“Celtic fans are famous, they sell their stadium out for every match. It will be hell.

This puts me in mind of the time another little known Czech side, Suduva , came to Glasgow and spent an hour and a half gawping at the ground, and finding themselves on the end of a proper skelping.

Whilst Celtic are ahead in the tie, it’s important that our players aren;t doing the gawping tonight. Another confidence building win, and perhaps more importantly, the security of European football until Christmas await the winners.

I’d say that was probably the first target for the new boss when he sat down amongst the ruins of last season…..

The second target would have been to gather around him a squad of players prepared to give their all for the team. That might well mean that Oddsone Edoaurd will be on his way, which would not entitely surprise us.

Of the Frenchman, Ange said:

I think you are in right in saying that is a club concern rather than my concern right now. I’m not concerned at all. If it means he stays here and contributes then so be it, but again that is stuff that I am not really spending too much time thinking about.

I have been at pains to say that there are certain things that are out of my control that I’m just not going to waste time during this period anyway, where it is really hectic, thinking about it.

My total focus is getting the team ready for these games, playing our football which is not easy and needs a lot of attention from me and the staff, and also working on bringing players in. I have left outgoings totally to other people, that’s other people’s concerns.

You are probably right, there is a concern there around cashing him in, but those are probably questions for other people.

It seems Ange gives as much of a toss whether or not Edouard stays as the Frenchman himself gives on the pitch….

Replacements are in the pipeline for anyone who wants out, and there’s still a few weeks to get things done. That means Celtic will hold out for as much as they can get for thise who want to go, and will do the usual haggling over newcomers.

Then again, bearing in mind the swashbuckling total football of late, will prospective Celts look at the team and wonder if they’ll get into it ?

Meanwhile, Desi mond has found that events over on the other side of the river have been discussed on a European tv channel…..

Than again, such attention from Europe , and rumours of an impending  financial crisis at ibrox have put sevral people on alert…

Rangers: Player sales inevitable as Steven Gerrard counts the cost of Champions League failure

The article, which is now only available to subscribers does its bit, mentioning 55 and the usual guff, but the underlying theme is that they have to sell, although it ignores the bit about actually finding someone who wants to pay what the ibrox club/company needs to raise…

When you factor in the rather bizarre story about them applying for,and subsequently withdrawing, an aplication to bulldoze Edmiston House and put a new building in its place, the mystery deepens.

Maybe they’re afraid someone will spot the pipe that carries the stolen water from the church….

The word on the street is they are going down unless they can swiftly raise money, and whilst Jack tries to placate the hordes by directly blaming UCL exit, and explaining its why Celtic have to sell players, thats clearly nonsense.

Celtic don’t budget for UCL group participation, at Ibrox they were depending on it.

A crucial difference that the media would rather not dwell on…..

You have to feel for the fans, but not that much, as some of them deserve every slice of the misery they are about to experience…

If you MUST have “approval” for a comment, would it not seem fair and logical that approval was ahead of new, and often multiple posts. By the time approval has been granted it’s almost always too late to be relevant, funny or whatever. If it’s Desi being petty after me telling him off for referring to the new club as “Rangers” then all I can say is TAKE HEED and grow up!

Some lovely football last night against a much improved opposition (I can’t remember how to spell their name). Their ‘keeper, amongst others may be worth keeping tabs on. It’s wonderful to have Lawwell replaced and a manager whom I think could really make a name for himself with us. (Preferably a shorter 2nd name and a less feminine forename but he’s got us playing very well in next to no time and I can only ask for more of the same.) BTW, our new CEO will need to confront the SFA, Lanarkshire Refs, et al as, e.g. Kyogo will get hammered by every hun player in Scotland if he’s not protected. What a run from Montgomery near the end, aye, the future’s bright, now just pass me that Ouzo! (or Aussie Shiraz?) Cheers Ange!

The £30-40 Million pound gamble. A huge sigh of relief at the Huns getting pumped by Malmo, that’s a £20million difference between the CL Qualifiers and the Europa’s at least. That lifejacket has sunk and now the ship is sinking, now they must look at other way’s to get baled out.
Now the emphasis must shift to this years SPFL title, where “The Winner Takes It All” and the loser gets SFA. Because this years title winner get’s direct entry into the CL Qualifiers. So, there is the gamble and the stakes are high, bring in the right players and hit the jackpot or fail miserably, never in recent Scottish football history where money is tight winning the league has means so much.
Bringing in the right players puts the odds in our favour, the support coming back in huge numbers can only help our cause, watch as the Huns call in all their little helpers, because if they do not win it, it might be Ta Ta The Noo, fingers crossed. Good luck Ange and the team.

We have now got up a head of speed, 3 wins on the trot, 13 goals scored, non-stop attacking the other goalmouth, players who have discovered how good it feels to play good football again, and the promise of more to come as they gat accustomed to each other and follow the new manager’s instructions.
Now the masons in black are gonna have a hard job disallowing too many goals if we keep playing and scoring like this….somebody might take notice.
When the huns return from their long distance trip to the east they’ll be ripe for the picking off and we can have a bit of pay back for last season and leave them chasing us.
Then at season’s end they can wallow wallow up to their knees in liquidation.

Liquidated in under eight minutes, as the CVA is rejected by creditors. In recent Scottish history has there ever been so much turmoil? That turmoil continues to this day with “malicious prosecution”.
Duff @ Phelps; Paul Clark – £10.4 million plus costs.
David Whitehouse £10 million plus costs.
Charles Green £6.4 million, more than his group paid for the baskets of assets.
David Grier seeking £7.00 million (Ticketus – I know nothing).
Imran Ahmed; a public apology seeking millions of pounds.
BDO the liquidators suing Duff @ Phelps for £56.8 million, because they never achieved a fair price for the basket of assets.
Duff @ Phelps, suing Scotland’s prosecution service for reputational damage up to £120 million.
It’s possible that the overall costs will top over £100 million.
Police Scotland’s Inspector Robertson and The Billy boys.
Frank Mullholland and James Wolffe, reputational damage.
Is it any wonder that there is going to be yet another Inquiry?
The chaos, the ramifications, the stupidity all comes at a cost to the Scottish taxpayer.

The Green Machine
Reply to  Mike

And what do all these lawsuits and public apologies prove, Mike?

That there was a CONSPIRACY by the Crown Office, Police Scotland & the ruling SNP Scottish government to fit up innocent men in an effort to protect one of the very few Scottish knights of the realm from prosecution, not malicious prosecution but justified prosecution, for his part in destroying Rangers FC from the inside out while selling their fans fairy stories.

And that isn’t a conspiracy theory but a Conspiracy Fact, just like everything else I’ve shown you here.

And the fact that this conspiracy continues is self evident every day by the fact that said knight of the realm David Murray is still walking about Scot free.

If you’ll pardon the pun.

Those at the top conspire and lie about everything and the sooner you lot learn the extent of their lies the better for all of you.

The Green Machine

And btw, Mike, there was no stupidity involved anywhere, every detail was long planned in advance.

Craig Whyte & Chuckles Green’s prior relationship proves that and they were handpicked Masonic placemen for those who were actually pulling the strings behind the scenes.

Ha, I just caught this from the other site, looks like the Orwell Prize winning Rangers Tax Case author is thinking along the same lines as myself:

‘Re: The Duff & Phelps / Sevco malicious prosecutions saga.

Why is COPFS so reluctant to fight any of these cases in court? They have created a gravy train where everyone involved gets easy payouts.

Is there damaging evidence that must not be revealed in court?

The timing of the arrests was fortuitous for those trying to wrest control of Sevco. Mike Ashley had effective control and owned the lop-sided retail deal.

Ashley was also hovered in the shadows of the Green asset purchase.

Were the arrests an attempt to intimidate Ashley?

Dave King had been in Scotland just before the arrests all took place. He had been to Hampden and met with ‘bluenoses of influence’ to plan the takeover.

Did that include people in the police and/or COPFS?
Are the payouts an effort to hide a wider conspiracy?’

Looks like the Orwell Prize winning Rangers Tax Case author is thinking along the same lines as myself:

‘Re: The Duff & Phelps / Sevco malicious prosecutions saga.

Why is COPFS so reluctant to fight any of these cases in court?

They have created a gravy train where everyone involved gets easy payouts.

Is there damaging evidence that must not be revealed in court?’

‘The timing of the arrests was fortuitous for those trying to wrest control of Sevco.

Mike Ashley had effective control and owned the lop-sided retail deal.

Ashley was also hovering in the shadows of the Green asset purchase.

Were the arrests an attempt to intimidate Ashley?’

The stupidity was with Police Scotland. Why? because they are not equipped to investigate business fraud. The only police force equipped to do that is “The City Of London” police force. Police Scotland is full of bigots, it cannot be trusted to investigate a football matter, just like those refereeing today’s game. That’s where the stupidity bit is rooted. BTW i just read a piece by John James who explains it all better than me. The only reason that I red it was a bhoy posted it on Video Celts.

There was NO STUPIDITY, Mike.

It was all planned to appear that way by putting the unqualified idiot bigot Robertson in charge but that too was deliberate.

How less could they pull off the ridiculously high pay outs?

It wouldn’t have worked has they a qualified fraud investigator on the case.

As The Rangers Tax Case author clearly implies from a few days ago, August 13th.

So you see once agin, Mike, the only stupidity at play here is yours in your foolishly continuing to believe the mainstream narrative, that is, the outright lies they feed you in the media.

Now we both know you’re not a stupid man, Mike, but you really need to stop believing the shite those deceiving scumbags tell you.

How important is it to the Scottish Tax Payer to have a club called Rangers/The Rangers playing professional football in Govan? We know it’s important to seven figures executives like Peter Lawwell as he monetised The Old Firm viz an oligopoly underpinned by religious bigotry and a false sense of Protestant supremacy.
It’s important to Scottish Mainstream Media who bend over backwards to propagate the lie of a limited company continuing as if liquidation was of no consequence as they prostitute the last vestiges of their integrity to market copy inches and advertising clickbait.
It’s important to Police Scotland. This is an organisation that is rife with Protestant supremacists and Freemasons.
How much is one prepared to pay in P.A.Y.E. Taxation, the stealth tax that is N.I. and via Council Tax to pay Police Scotland to pursue anyone who may have been instrumental in Rangers demise?
How about £21m and £3m in legal costs to David Whitehouse and Paul Clark? How about £6.39m to Charles Green plus legal costs? How about the just shy of £9m that is being pursued by David Grier or the relief due to Imran Ahmad?
The latter was so distrusting of the Protestant supremacists at Police Scotland that he went on the lam in Pakistan for a year. He had every right to avoid the malicious prosecution of the detectives of chief incompetence viz DCI Jim Robertson and DS O’Neil (nee) who could barely spell economic crime when plucked from flatfoot obscurity. Robertson’s beat was in Renfrew. He obtained the plain clothes gig by networking in a masonic lodge. Freemasons control Police Scotland. The Scottish Assembly set their budgets. Operational control has been devolved to masonic Lodges.
Think of masonic lodges as the police boxes of yesteryear.
Rangers went bust. Craig Whyte had sold off the season tickets in a deal which gave him the capital to pay off a debt owed to Lloyds bank. He avoided paying tax. Receivers were appointed. By October of 2012 this company could not be salvaged and is currently in the final throes of liquidation. Craig Whyte was acquitted of any crime.
Rangers engaged in tax evasion. Do not entertain the revisionism of aggressive tax avoidance. Side letters negated the tax loophole. They paid out fast approaching £50m and did not deduct taxes or pay employer’s National Insurance. SIR David Murray – what was he knighted for, services to tax evasion – pocketed £6.3m .
To say that they were an organisation which was loath to pay taxes is a euphemism.
When Rangers went bust many tax payers who had borne the brunt of their criminal endeavours were glad to see the back of them. However Charles Green bought a stadium, a training complex, and a lease on a car park. He changed the name of Sevco Scotland Limited to The Rangers Football Club Limited. He could not buy the players as their contract with Rangers had been materially broken. Only those such as Ally McCoist, who would never earn £750,00 per annum with £100,000 expenses in any other walk of life, transferred their undertakings (TUPE) to Sevco Scotland Limited.
Where was the fraud? David Murray evaded tax but he was above the pay grade of a hairy-arsed flatfoot with an abacus, a masonic handshake, and a ready answer to the question ‘what is your granny’s age’ which denotes the number of one’s masonic lodge.
Was there a conspiracy to buy Rangers, put this company into administration and pick it up for pennies in the pound in a Creditor Voluntary Agreement? The Crown thought so and unleashed two officers who interrogated Charles Green in Livingston Police Station while sitting in the chairs reserved for suspects. They recorded themselves asking questions of Mr. Green. They discovered their stupidity when playing back the recording at the first comfort break
Charles Green and Brian Kennedy – the wealthy fantasist who believes that Madeleine McCann did not die in her parents’ holiday accommodation – were keen to buy Rangers as a going concern. Craig Whyte’s majority shareholding was only of value if a CVA was accepted. HMRC and Dave King voted against the CVA. Rangers ceased to exist.
Tears were shed. Leeann Dempster was inconsolable with grief. Someone had to pay for this. How about the Scottish tax payer? They will do just nicely.
Should David Grier rightly receive compensation for being banged up all weekend by a police officer who broke every rule in the book; and should Imran Ahmad receive a similar quantum to Charles Green, the running total will be just shy of £43m. When one adds legal costs for the plaintiffs, and the defenders viz the office of The Chief Constable of Police Scotland and the Lord Advocate/COPFS, one can conservatively add £13m to the running total. When one factors in the cost of Police Scotland visiting their heroes in Ohio and South Africa – no per diem was left unclaimed – one has a £60m clusterfuck.
When one then looks at the tax evaded by David Murray of circa £33.5m for his unlawful EBT endeavours and add £2.6m for his unlawful DOS/VSS scheme, he gouged the Scottish Tax payer for £36.1m. Robertson’s & O’Neil’s wild goose chase – trying to find a needle in a haystack while wearing the blindfolds of stupidity – takes the deficit to £96.1m
However here’s the kicker. Duff & Phelps are currently pursuing The Lord Advocate/ COPFS for £120m in reputational damages. They have engaged Roddy Dunlop QC who is one of the finest legal minds in Scotland. The Crown want this hushed up. They don’t want the Scottish tax payer to know how they have fucked up to the tune of £180m AT YOUR EXPENSE.
Supporters of the new club are wont to sing ‘No-one likes us we don’t care.’ Is it any wonder no-one likes them as we count the cost of their tax evasion and false continuation narrative. They are also wont to sing ‘We Are The People’. People bought and paid for by Scottish Tax Payers.

And if you seriously think that entire force of Police Scotland are ‘not equipped to investigate business fraud’ (sic) then I have a State capital bridge to sell you.

You’re actually saying that you believe that in all of Scotland there’s not one criminal fraud investigator capable of assessing what actually happened at Oldco Rangers?

If so then you are off your fvckin nut, mate.

Mike

You want to catch yourself on, mate. They proved my point by fvcking up that investigation didn’t they. Why do you think that it was the City of London police that investigated the fraud at Ibrox in 2000? that is where they discovered the side letters in the EBT case. Why was it them that carried out the investigation eh? Because Police Scotland are a bigot infested useless organisation, not capable of investigating sophisticated fraud. It’s Police Scotland, not the whole of Scotland. Do not enter the Brains Trust if you cannot understand that…. mate.

No, Mike, they proved YOU wrong and proved myself and the Orwell Prize winning Rangers Tax Case author right,

They set up a long running scam where EVERYONE INVOLVED gets an easy payout of Scottish taxpayers money which will likely max out around £200 million.

Of YOUR MONEY, chief.

Ive been telling you for over half a decade that all the world is run by Freemasonry and that this modern version of Freemasonry has as its highest Order the country of Scotland as seen in the name The Scottish Rite.

Hwy do you continually fail to grasp this self evident fact when it is staring you in the face every waking day?

You can’t see the word for the trees, right?

Freemasonry runs this world, Mike, and your Lizzie is the Queen bee in the hive that they do all their busy business for, herself, her State & Crown.

And you’d do well to pay heed to that, boss, os it’s your money this whole gang are ripping off, yours and everyone else on here who pays taxes to the British Crown.

And you think they don’t own you and that there’s no conspiracy…

Try not paying your taxes like Rangers did and see how far you get.

See if they’ll allow YOU a tribute act …

In 2007, the Met. sent the City of London Police to investigate tax fraud at Ibrox. Police Scotland went with them to make their tea. Police Scotland has a regional fraud department but the City of London Police take the lead in all sophisticated fraud, could you imagine Police Scotland doing anything at Ibrox, the home of Scottish bigotry, how can you investigate your own crimes? Police Scotland have proved that they are infected with bigotry and are Masonic and thick as mince, they should take a course on self cleansing. My opinion is; Wolffe was after Frank Mullholland, a Catholic Lord Advocate and that sectarianism and free Masonry was behind it, why apologise to D@P? that set up all the monetary claims? They cannot go after Mullholland in the courts cos he would bury them. It is my belief that there is something in the Free Masonry angle, how else could you explain the Murray’s of this world getting off Scot free, so, there is something stinking and unexplainable.
Whyte fought in the courts against the tax man, to get D@P appointed as administrators, something smelly there too, bourn out by Daniel Cousin.

A settlement of two million to the two of D@P would have been enough for them to settle the case, but?

Ok, we’re clearly both on the same page here, Mike, but as you know it was not stupidity on the part of Police Scotland but a deliberate avoidance of the issue.

As you say, how can they investigate their own crime?

It’s obvious they were all in on it and your angle on Wolffe going after Mulholland possibly has some merit too, though I doubt Frank isn’t a Mason himself as it’s rare to get so high in any profession without baring a nip and knowing how to respond to a third knuckle shuffle.

Though even if he is in the Masons maybe his being a Catholic was enough for Wolffe.

Or it could be something else entirely.

But cheer# for the post, you’re evidently very aware of the malignant influence this secret society has over all of Scotland, though it’s not only in Scotland, the Met too is chock full of them.

I don’t think we’ll ever know the reasons behind why they went after all these key Masonic figures but as we all know it’s usually always about money, which explains why these massive payouts are so high.
