You will by now have all read the quotation from the UEFA missive which confirms that the entity operating out of Ibrox is not the same one that operated pre 2012.

There are reasons for this, which I have been informed of, and I’m more than happy with them.
This is a long game, and we will have to be patient, but its a game we are going to win.
But what will be deemed a victory ?
What do we want out of it ?

Well, yes, of course.
But then what ?
Well, thats a little more difficult, as who is to say the new incumbents at Hampden will be any better than the present shifty lot ?
Football is not just a game any more, and money is king. Sometimes that clouds peoples judgment, and it must be stopped.
We want it to be a game again, on a level playing field.
In order for a full and satisfying victory in this particular game, it must be that the situation that saw one club receive favourable treatment can never be allowed to happen again, and in that case , a radical overhaul of the domestic game is required.
This means reconstruction, to a degree, and the introduction of an ombudsman to who clubs can take their complaints to , and be safe in the knowledge that he/she will deal with them without fear or favour.
This ombudsman must have the final say in all matters concerning the game, from schools football all the way up to the highest level, and their decision must be implemented without fear or favour.
That would mean a hierarchical change in the way the game is governed .
No more SFA or SPFL ruling in what they feel the games best interests are, as they have shown time after time that they act only in their own best interests.
If an ombudsman is not enough, then maybe a committee of people, paid for by the clubs via a levy, but also elected by them and their supporters to act in their interests and in the interests of supporters, without whom there would be no game.
Resolution 12 has a long way to go, and the evidence that the guys have is conclusive.
The SFA and the SPFL have not acted in the intersts of Scittish football, and whilst the two organsisations are needed, although perhaps in a merged form, there is a need for a third option.
An option that will act for Scottish football on behalf of those who care about it, and not about themselves.
Too radical ?
Not if all the clubs, and all their supporters get behind the idea.
The first step would be to approach Holyrood and point out that a major industry in the country is not being goverened transparently, and is not held to account for its actions.
An elected and accountable overseeing body is necessary to avoid the game slipping into further disrepute, and action is needed now to save its image.
After all the stench of corruption has been removed, there would be little point in allowing even a hint of it to fester, and so someone has to keep an eye on things.
We can sort out who does what after it’s set up, but for now its essential to start talks on setting it up.
We nearly lost our game to spivs, charlatans and dodgy administrators.
We must not let it happen again.
And we need to start work on that now.
Who knows, we might even give the peoples game back to the people.

Good article. There is the germ of a good idea there. However, we need to ensure that we do not create another body that is corruptible as well. There must be models out there other than the single ombudsman that we could examine. I believe an essential characteristic of any oversight is that it is external to football, or at the least, external to Scottish football. This would include a non-Scottish body looking at our game, including officiating of games. The ideal would be to make football accountable to a non-football authority so that all parties understood that violations could be prosecuted in a court of law and not merely adjucated by some board or committee from within the SFA or SPFL. For the SFA etc to surrender this much power is unlikely. It would take a scandal of monumental proportions to bring this about. That is a tall order to place upon Res 12 and the 4 guys behind it!

The answer to your question about the UEFA website which shows titles and a longer history by the old co.Is because the old co.is still under the Liquidation process,which means in effect that your Board if it chooses can still pay the creditors and legally attain the past titles,this of course they will not do,because the new Board is Governed by a convicted criminal,who hasnt got the moral fibre to pay the old cos. debts.(nor the cash.)Subsequently the website will not change until the liquidation process is completed.
