Im not so sure about this. First of all let me say Tommy Burns God Rest His Soul . It would be a great
To Honour his name for his services to the cause. But in my opinion there are many others who spring to mind, Big Jock, Jinky, Murdoch, McGrory, Thompson, Mailey land many many others who would also deserve this honour.

Ocahon your right there are great names that are associated with our club,but this was Tommys legacy.This was his project he went out and scouted all over Europe at the acadameys of the top clubs,to make sure Celtic was as equal or if not better than the rest.
So yes great names you mentioned,but Lennoxtown was the creation of Tommy Burns.

I have tried to sign but when I hit the sign box nothing is happening. Is that how it should be or am I, as happens with the Diary, doing it wrong? No point in asking Mrs PB. She always says I’m doing it wrong. I would ask Monti or mike but they are bound to do it differently in Blackpool and Dundee:)

Just came across this post now. Dont know why av missed it. I signed a thing to name it after Tommy about 6 years ago but it obviously never happened. Shame on me for not keeping an eye on it. Always remember him scoring an injury time goal against Stirling Albion to keep us in a cup and running to the jungle as we were all going mental. We won 6-1 in extra time. God bless Tommy Burns. The guy Peter from the Peter aand Roughie show will be promoting it once their back from their break.
Tommy Burns was an absolute legend and i was very privileged to have met him.
It should soon be getting promoted on Mail on Sunday and Daily Record as the guy who started the petition has been contacted by them to help publicise this.
