Every silver hampden soaked cloud though has a dark lining mind and 3 times today I have been asked “Is that us qualified for the Euros then?” .
Each reply has begun with a “Well..” and a heavy sigh as god only know why UEFA decided to start throwing Joker cards around here there and everywhere…

I’ll be honest about this, i’m happy for the Celtic boys that do well, however a part of me wanted Scotland to lose so we could get rid of EBT Mcleish.
I find that a sad situation but it’s an honest one.
I find it next to impossible to listen to Mcleish without getting disillusioned.

Last night we topped UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE – GROUP C1 so next time (2022?) we’ll be in Group B something ie we’ve been promoted a division to play numpties like Germany etc.
So next up is Euro 2020, which won’t have a finals tournament, we’ll be in Pot 3 and is outlined in your diagram.

I want Scotland’s national team to do well and I want our Celtic lads on the team to do well.
I went to an international match at Mordor versus Portugal many years ago It ended 0-0. Our Tommy Boyd was at left back and played a great game. Yet he was vilified by many Huns sitting nearby with the usual bile, and none of it to do with the match in front of us. My wife and two youngsters were present and I vowed them I would follow them only by tv after taht. I don’t think it fazed Tommy at all but it fazed me and my family.
Saturday at Hamilton:
Artificial pitch, a match we want to win. It would be nice to bounce back after Livvie.
But we need to rest some for ous Cup final next week. So:

On what basics do you think Rangers2012 will be our closest competitors this season . Do you think the bias referees & Officals will take them in second , or do you think all the other teams won’t get closer than 20 points below us & that they will slip in a mere 19 points behind .
Certainly neither the players they have & the managerial skills of Gerrard are not enough to put them within an arse-s roar of us
DJ I think they are better than all our competitors although Hibs should probably be our chief rival. The rest will fall by the wayside. I base this on:
They have outscored us in the league.
They have got their mojo back at Mordor.
McGregor is a decent goalkeeper.
They have the referees and officials on their side because Sevco is not seen as a new club.
Because they don’t see themselves as zombies, they will be desperate to stop our historical 10 in a row, by any means possible.
Any team that scores 7 against a league rival should be given respect.
They maybe have a top gear too, which they haven’t reached yet. We may have just reached it.
If we have got our mojo, even Sevco with their miracle big budget won’t get within 19 points of us.
I’m not afraid of Sevco, but we should give them respect (in footballing terms only)
I think our quality in depth should see us through. A few injuries to a few key players would really hit them hard.
Gerrard is a fanny by the way.
We gave them respect at Celtic Park..then we walked onto the park with respect and walked off it laughing at the gulf in class between the sides.
They were humiliated in the last game against us. Champs vs Chumps.
McGregor is prone to one major mistake in each game..I fear nothing from him.
