Should We Be Worried ?

CraigieBhoy has an exclusive draft article from one of our esteemed tabloid newspapers that was mysteriously pulled before publication.ย We thought you might like a peek..

Rangers fans have praised their team’s “spectacular” rise to the top four of the SPFL in just one season.

The Ibrox side gained automatic promotion from the Championship last year, after four years in lower leagues. They reached the semi-finals of the League Cup and currently sitting an incredible third place after 26 games, and even held second spot for a short while.

That has resulted in some pat-on-the-backs from supporters on online threads.

“Forget about Going for 55 and all that malarkey, we are just happy to be in the Premier League again. We shouldn’t have tried to chase Celtic, with Rodgers they were always going to win everything. Ra Gers have scored several spectacular victories in the league this season and shown the likes of Kilmarnock and Motherwell that we’re back and have put them in their place.”

Another found solace in survival:

“Fek me, we’re still going. That’s reason enough to celebrate. After all the chaos and incompetence of the last four years it’s fun being back in the top flight again.”

And this poster said the Board should be thanked.

“Our signing policy wasn’t extravagant and was aimed at giving the club a boost pre-season. There was no way the likes of Barton, Kranjcar or Hill were ever going to do anything on the pitch; they were there to boost season tickets and get sponsorship. Job done. We have brilliant players in Holt and Kiernan and ended up relying on them.”

While this Bear warned Celtic not to get complacent.

“The points total don’t lie, but if we reduce that points difference by three points a season we’ll catch them in 2027. Watch yer backs Sellick!”.

And this fan thanked Mark Warburton for his dedication.

“The Magic Hat was a real Sevco, err Rangers man, cos he bought Barton. It dusnae matter that he was a basket case and got the boot after a few games, he telt the Sellick what he thought, and that meant we achieved what we exist for: hating everyone else and getting under their skin.

“Bring back Warburton, he’s the man.”

This supporter .. blah blah blah

Perhaps we really should be worried today

I think we should be confident going into the game but not arrogant. We were woeful at Celtic Park in March and have been poor in a number of games since (Thistle and Ross County). We should still have taken maximum points from both of these games but we are not finishing teams off the way we should be. We misseda penalty to gift Thistle a point and we were cheated against Ross C but we should have finished the games before this. We need to up our game to ensure the honest mistakes don’t matter.

Treat the game with respect and all will be well.

According to the Sunday Mail Ryan Christie is banking on a Rangers win so he can play in the final.
Though Ryan never actually said that the Sunday Mail has some insight as to how the player is thinking.
Really Sunday Mail, a Celtic player hoping for a Rangers win that would stop the treble so that he could participate in the final?
I don’t think so, no matter your source on his thinking and the snidey remarks that of course he wouldn’t be able to say so straight out.
The sooner this rag and it’s associated daily hit the buffers the better…..let’s see how many of their crap sports journos find employment in the industry, very few I would gusess.

There was either a convention of 32Red blueclad Goodyear blimps when I was shopping in Cardonald last night or a lot of optimistic sevconites out and about. No complacency, please. Cause them pain, Celtic! Let’s hammer them so badly that they again kid on they’re Killie/Buddies/Bairns etc and their Sevco tops are sold to circus owners as tents!

I saw my first game against the Huns about 55 years ago…we went to the game in a horse and cart !
I wasn’t confident then…and I’ve never been confident since.
I go into every Hun game thinking we’ll get beat…and today’s no exception.
Thankfully I been proved so wrong on so many wonderful occasions..and hopefully I’ll be proved wrong again today.

The men in black are our only concern.
Miller, Halliday Garner are dirty fly Hun feckers.
The ref has to protect the football players, it’s a great looking team by Brendan, though I’m still concerned that we look a little lightweight in the middle. No height there to protect the back 4.
But in Brendan we trust.

We aren’t scoring enough from the possession we have. Does this not concern others?

Aye, it concerns me a great deal, but it doesn’t seem to be bothering the players, despite the recent Jags, Sevco & Robs Cunty results.

Sinclair said it was ‘one of our best performances of the season’ today but it could so easily have gone the way of the last match at Parkheid, it only takes one or two ‘ref’s unsighted’ moments to swing it the other way.

Moussa has concerned me a bit recently so it was good to see Griffiths make an impact, but they have to tighten up with their finishing a lot earlier than they’ve been leaving it, as I thought the 3 games mentioned above should have shown them aalready.

Only a fantastic save denied Griff after a brilliant first touch and shot. Big Rogic hit the post late on too. Thought Celtic were toying with them a bit.

We never got out of second gear today and still made them look like the second rate team they are.
Looking forward to next week.
Here we go ten in a row .
God bless Brendan.

Well done to the Bhoys who predicted 2-0 to the Treblers.Tex was first out of the traps.Only two Huns should’ve been sent off and we got a stonewaller,so not a bad day for WC.Felt Kenny Miller should’ve had a penalty because a.He’s a rabble rousing Hun and b.The ball came back off a good save from big CG and nearly touched big Jozo’s arm.Is that not good enough reason?Come on,refs,up your game.
P.S.Lodge meetings cancelled tonight for some reason, can’t think why’s?

That stand side assistant needs watching.
Twice he only flagged for offside after their player has a shot and missed.
Would the flag have gone up if the ball ended up in the net?

Broonie was indeed mom but wee Macgregor has to get a mention often gets abuse but for me never hides.

McGregor’s goal was out of this world. A magnificent pass from Lustig, superb first touch from Moussa and a glorious lay off to wee Callum whose PASS into the net would have had Messi green with envy. I don’t know how Collum only booked Halliday, Tavernier and Beerman. Unreal.

Stevie D

Beerman committed his second bookable offence within minutes of getting booked the 1st time. As usual a yellow card’s a licence to kill. As for Tavernier: I thought the denial of a goal scoring opportunity was a straight red? Still; didn’t matter in the end up.

Today I watched two brilliant games, the difference the standard of refereeing
Ramos does a two footed tackle , the referee immediately pulls out a red card, Gollum sees a two footed tackle as a yellow card. If a Celticplayer had committed the same he would have copied the Spanish referee.
What a shower of cheats!

I see the poxy Hun loving criminals at the BBC once again didn’t mention the Cetlic game on last night’s sports news.

Every other channel did, Al Jazeera even showed the goals, but not one word on the Scottish Cup semi final from the Savile Broadcasting Corporation.

So that’s now the Record, the Evening Times, The Sun, the Beeb, Sky Spurts & STV who cannot wait to show their disdain/hatred for either Celtic or the Scottish game in general.
I would include The Guardian here but their actual fitba reporting is alright, once you find the SPFL section, which is usually hidden somewhere after the results & fixtures from The Outer Mongolian & Tuvanian League.

(The Guardian is, however, just another begging corporate impostor pretending to be the relatively trustworthy news source of old, when it, too, has been sucked into the current propaganda machine, like all other modern maimstream news media, so I wouldn’t recommend it, or anything else, to anyone.)

I don’t buy their papers, I don’t pay their subscriptions, I don’t watch their channels, I don’t click on their websites, I would not piss on their grannies if the old dears were on fire, so they can stick their anti Celtic, anti Catholic bias, and their bluenosed, goat tampering, English loving, bigotry right up their bitter clenching Gary Glitters as far as I’m concerned, and take their dim witted, reactionary, self serving wankshafting ‘pundits’ like Tanner, Walker, Durham et al right along with them.

We are and always will be the mighty Glasgow Celtic, with or without the twisted words of handshaking, nipple baring, shitbag pricks like Tom English or ‘Professor’ Roy Greedsnake, who both ‘profess’ to ‘know a bit about football’, but whose lowlife slimeball Hun-sucking ignorance would, in reality, do a whole better with their ‘opinions’ if they made them into a home baked greasy tart and flung it at the nearest wall, hoping some of it would stick, like the flies around the Sevco shite that they are.

Phew … Now that I’ve got that off my chest, what would you like for dessert?
