Glasgow City Council: Stop allowing Orange Walks in Glasgow city centre

i live in the area next to glasgow green and the mess thats left is not acceptable anymore. i dont have a problem with these people wanting to walk for there beliefs but theres a big park there where they can do it all day long and not bother residents..they march then go on there way and leave the people out to cause trouble behind and we have to deal with the mess.theres always something on in the green and its great for people to get together but not when its to cause bother..and hatred amongst communities

It's time to end this open display of bigotry.

In a free society, no-one denies these bigots have a right to walk the streets. There is absolutely no need for this to be more than once a year. It's the frequency of these morons polluting our streets is the problem.

It's plain and simple bigotry

It helps perpetuate bigotry. These marches belong to another era. Orange walks are more about hatred and bigotry than anything else, but they are carried outunder the guise of politics and "cultural celebration.
