Its that time again, Friday afternoon and a time to reflect on the week gone by. Its International week, surely that means its been a quiet, dull affair…well not quite..<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, something strange occurred. It was like something out of Hollywood,…<\/p>\n

A\u00a0wobbly team of rag taggle depressed diddies, bereft of a manager of note, lined up in Stirling expecting to be ritually\u00a0humiliated and soon to be hiding under their beds after yet another embarrassing defeat in whats been a shambolic season so far. Sure enough thats\u00a0 exactly what happened to Rangers once again<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the sunday Celtic fans found themselves nursing sore sides and sore thumbs from constant laughing and tweeting about the defeat to Sevco. The happiest man on the planet though was the Stirling Albion Manager (John) Greig McDonald who wasnt even at the game but was\u00a0away getting married.<\/p>\n

Our best wishes go to the happy couple<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

While it was good times for the newly-weds, spare a thought for poor Stirling keeper, Sam Filler\u00a0, who suffered \u00a0a dud eye after a collision ( insert standard Lee McCulloch elbow reference here – Ed) and was substituted after a gallant first half show of defiance.\u00a0 Rangers did claim Stirling had an advantage but the ref was having none of it!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Rangers manager Ally McCoist tried to deny the defeat from a team that had been bottom of the bottom of Scottish Football was an embarrassment and said his position or himself hadnt been affected by the shocking result. The evidence suggests otherwise<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Celtic fans recovered from sore sides to make it to Celtic Park on Sunday to see the side beat Hearts and sit proudly at the top of the League.\u00a0 Sammi was on form\u00a0 and scored a peach<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

To be fair, Sammi’s winner was with a little help from the Hearts keeper who allowed the ball to easily squirm home. Manager John McGlynn\u00a0said his keeper had been a little too generous to\u00a0the Swashbuckling Celts<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

After the Celtic win, the lads headed off to International duty. The Scotland v Wales games was looking bad enough for Celtic with Joe Led, Skoosh and James Forrest involved ( Matthews still \u00a0injured) but then the evil Craig Levein decided to call up Kris Commons to take the place of Robert Snodgrass.<\/p>\n

Shocked Celtic fans\u00a0 lined\u00a0up outside Hampden at the news that yet another Hoops player risks injury before such big Champions League games ahead.<\/p>\n

We understand that Levein may have left via a side door with Peter Huston<\/p>\n

Fraser Forster joined up with England as they launched their new Football headquarters. While the facility was lauded by the Press and even Steven Pressley, there were some worries about its location despite anyappropriateness<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As if that wasnt enough for poor Fraser to handle, he also had to deal with Press rants about \u00a0Roy Hodgson. Seems the England manager was feeling rather sad after a rather embarrasing adventure on a train where he let certain secrets slip out.<\/p>\n

To close the week, Charles Green launched his IPO offering. Its only been 5 month since he took over with a mythical 30 million pounds heading to the bank balance.\u00a0 You can say what you like but the guy knows how to sell a dream despite his last efforts at Sheffield resulting in less than favourable reviews<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Chuck claims the proposed issue will raise \u00a320m and this will go towards buying players in a transfer embargo and building a hotel and casino at Ibrox.<\/p>\n

Apropos of nothing, here is a picture that we laughed at so many many years ago<\/p>\n

Chuck has also claimed that he will no longer allow Sally and the players to talk to the Press but will have all coverage shown on Rangers Media. He also hopes to set up a hotline to Sally for any fans to air their views. Here is Ally advertising how much in pounds its gonna cost.<\/p>\n
