Ran about a bit. sometomes with the ball

Sviatchenko: Ran about a bit after the ball.

Ambrose: Ran about a bit, usually away from the ball.

Tierney: Struggled with the pitch. And the ball.

Brown: Successfully avoided injury with a level of non participation unsurpassed in the history of Celtic captains

Biton: Espanyol tweeted a sigh of relief. surely we should just sell him for what we can get ?

Rogic. Looked out of sorts. Well, when I first noticed him he was being replaced. Managed the walk to the bench without falling over or losing possession.

Christie: Tried, but forgot to try when he had the ball.

Griffiths. Forty goal striker played out wide to accomodate Dembele

Dembele; every inch a £500,000 player . did we keep the receipt ?

Armstrong : At last. some energy, but it failed to wake the rest of them.

Forrest: Did his bit, but along with Tierney, saw less of the ball than would have suited them.

Ciftci. Looked likely to score, as he put the wind up Lincoln. Far better option up front with Griffiths, thougb as we have seen, Griff is better on his own.

The second leg is in /glasgow, Celtic will wear green and white and have the support of a big crowd. Right up until kick off.

On this showing, we won;t be in europe next Thursday. The team don;t know how to win, and the manager, well, he looked lost.

His idea of going with the regulars, for their experience, was sound on paper.

Its just that when it wasn’t working you change it, and if the same eleven who started tonight start next week, we are up the proverbial creek without the proverbial paddle.

All the hope and all the anticipation of the new season under a new manager disappeared in gibraltar as Celtic slumped to one of the…

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
