You will also be aware that this letter will not be published.<\/p>\n
There are reasons for this, which I have been informed of, and I’m more than happy with them.<\/p>\n
This is a long game, and we will have to be patient, but its a game we are going to win.<\/p>\n
But what will be deemed a victory ?<\/p>\n
What do we want out of it ?<\/p>\n
Titles stripped ?<\/p>\n
The SFA ripped aprt and started anew ?<\/p>\n
Officials held accountable ?<\/p>\n
Well, yes, of course.<\/p>\n
But then what ?<\/p>\n
Well, thats a little more difficult, as who is to say the new incumbents at Hampden will be any better than the present shifty lot ?<\/p>\n
Football is not just a game any more, and money is \u00a0king. Sometimes that clouds peoples judgment, and it must be stopped.<\/p>\n
We want it to be a game again, on a level playing field.<\/p>\n
In order for a full and satisfying victory in this particular game, it must be that the situation that saw one club receive favourable treatment can never \u00a0be allowed to happen again, and in that case , a radical overhaul of the domestic game is required.<\/p>\n
This means reconstruction, to a degree, and the introduction of an ombudsman to who clubs can take their complaints to , and be safe in the knowledge that he\/she will deal with them without fear or favour.<\/p>\n
This ombudsman must have the final say in all matters concerning the game, from schools football all the way up to the highest level, and their decision must be implemented without fear or favour.<\/p>\n
That would mean a hierarchical change in the way the game is governed .<\/p>\n
No more SFA or SPFL ruling in what they feel the games best interests are, as they have shown time after time that they act only in their own best interests.<\/p>\n
If an ombudsman is not enough, then maybe a committee of people, paid for by the clubs via a levy, but also elected by them and their supporters \u00a0to act in their interests and in the interests of supporters, without whom there would be no game.<\/p>\n

Resolution 12 has a long way to go, and the evidence that the guys have is conclusive.<\/p>\n
The SFA and the SPFL have not acted in the intersts of Scittish football, and whilst the two organsisations are needed, although perhaps in a merged form, there is a need for a third option.<\/p>\n
An option that will act for Scottish football on behalf of those who care about it, and not about themselves.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Too radical ?<\/p>\n
Not if all the clubs, and all their supporters get behind the idea.<\/p>\n
The first step would be to approach Holyrood and point out that a major industry in the country is not being goverened transparently, and is not held to account for its actions.<\/p>\n
An elected and accountable overseeing body is necessary to avoid the game slipping into further disrepute, and action is needed now to save its image.<\/p>\n
After all the stench of corruption has been removed, there would be little point in allowing even a hint of it to fester, and so someone has to keep an eye on things.<\/p>\n
We can sort out who does what \u00a0after it’s set up, but for now its essential to start talks on setting it up.<\/p>\n
We nearly lost our game to spivs, charlatans and dodgy administrators.<\/p>\n
We must not let it happen again.<\/p>\n
And we need to start work on that now.<\/p>\n
Who knows, we might even give the peoples game back to the people.<\/p>\n
