The Man Who Made Us Smile Again<\/strong><\/p>\n

My story begins in Glasgow\u2019s east end<\/p>\n

In the city\u2019s own sweet Paradise<\/p>\n

We had players with style who brought laughter and smiles<\/p>\n

But lately, we\u2019d tears in our eyes<\/p>\n

We were bitter, dejected, and as fans, felt neglected,<\/p>\n

But we always stayed faithful and true<\/p>\n

All big buying was barred when we were linked with the stars,<\/p>\n

They thought second class players would do.<\/p>\n

They first tried to please us then tried to appease us<\/p>\n

But a silence roared loud in our stands<\/p>\n

With each sermon spoken, our hearts they were broken<\/p>\n

Every tear was so carefully planned<\/p>\n

We saw loan after loan bring in groan after groan<\/p>\n

And what we saw on the park was a mess<\/p>\n

We were flat we poor like some rich bitch\u2019s whore<\/p>\n

This was Desmond\u2019s and Lawwell\u2019s success!<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve seen players fatigued in this inferior league<\/p>\n

Are we happy with just Scottish success?<\/p>\n

Will the board finally pay to play The Celtic Way?<\/p>\n

All their failures they must now redress,<\/p>\n

We need players with heart who are skilled in the art,<\/p>\n

Who can deliver that magical ten<\/p>\n

But if Europe\u2019s our aim we need much bigger names<\/p>\n

If Parkhead\u2019s to be a fortress again.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve seen glory on glory but it can\u2019t tell the story<\/p>\n

How the fans have been starved and deprived<\/p>\n

Week after week our future looked bleak<\/p>\n

Now it looks like our hope\u2019s been revived<\/p>\n

The board brought in a man who\u2019s a real Celtic fan<\/p>\n

A man from the Emerald Isle<\/p>\n

Brendan Rodgers\u2019, his name, and football\u2019s his game<\/p>\n

And today he made Paradise smile.<\/p>\n

As he spoke of ambitions citing our Club\u2019s traditions<\/p>\n

Ten thousand filed into the stands<\/p>\n

We felt this man\u2019s pride and the love he can\u2019t hide<\/p>\n

For the Club that he\u2019s loved bhoy and man<\/p>\n

He says he is honoured and will take our Club forward<\/p>\n

Back to where Celtic belongs<\/p>\n

He\u2019s our number one choice and we\u2019ll lend him our voice<\/p>\n

Will he lend his and join in our songs?<\/p>\n

We\u2019re all buzzing, excited, with the fans all united<\/p>\n

Let Celtic\u2019s new era unfold<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve a manager here who is no puppeteer<\/p>\n

A man whose heart can\u2019t be sold<\/p>\n

He is living the dream, in charge of a team<\/p>\n

A tale that could be from Bhoy\u2019s Own<\/p>\n

He\u2019ll pack out the stands and be backed by the fans<\/p>\n
