Tonight Celts are in action again, this time in Dundee where the game in hand can hopefully be turned into a seven point lead, and whilst there’s no room for complacency, a continuation of the form showed in parts on Saturday should see us through.<\/p>\n

It’s Scott Browns turn to talk the other side up, and I suppose it’s about time he did something.<\/p>\n

They\u2019re on a good run and Paul Hartley\u2019s got them playing really well, and no matter when they play us they always seem to be up for it. They\u2019re a good team and they always try and pass the ball so it should be a good game of football.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe main thing for us is to get over the line and it doesn\u2019t matter how or when that happens. We\u2019ve been in this position for the last three or four years so we know what it\u2019s all about, and we just need to keep putting points on the board.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully we get a good result at Dundee and go seven points clear because it would be great for us.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

After tonight there are six games left, and five in a row, something only seen once before in our lifetimes will be completed.<\/p>\n

Something that has been accomplished is the winning of the development league title, after twenty three wins in twenty five games so far. The other two were draws, and you have to say that does augur well for the future, as it appears the youngsters at least have a winning mentality.<\/p>\n

I’d say they were pretty dominant in that league, and whilst a number of the squad won’t proceed to the first team, the amount of players who have carved out careers elsewhere from the Celtic set up at least means they can be reasonably confident of doing so themselves.<\/p>\n

Well done to coach Tommy McIntyre and his lads.<\/p>\n

So, how quickly can the big team do the same ?<\/p>\n

A win tonight means another four wins is all thats required, unless we get an early game against Aberdeen after the split. So, if we beat Dundee and Motherwell, and win the first post split game, we could win the league against the Dons if it comes out as game number two.<\/p>\n

If they want excitement, how about scheduling that one ?<\/p>\n

Anyhoo, back to Brown, and he decided he wanted to be booked tonight, and probably in every other game as well when he had a bit of a rant about tackling…<\/p>\n

John Collins somehow got himself in front of a microphone as well, and gave us his thoughts on Patrick roberts before anyone got a chance to snatch it off him;<\/p>\n

Karen Peat added: \u201cAbsolute disgrace\u201d. Another irate fan wrote: \u201cShocking. Don\u2019t think I\u2019ll bother watching anymore.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Light Blues cup was spotted on Charles Manuel\u2019s coffee table as his family appeared on Gogglebox on Friday.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Channel 4 said they censored it because it breached rules on promotional items appearing in the programme.<\/em><\/p>\n

But the Glasgow-based Bridgeton Loyal Rangers Supporters\u2019 Club blasted the decision.<\/em><\/p>\n

After the edited repeat, they posted on Facebook: \u201cYou can tell the level of hate out there for us when a mug causes a stooshie.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Last night they added: \u201cIt has absolutely nothing offensive on it.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a copy of our 24ft x 24ft banner which we take to games and has been checked by Rangers officials and Police Scotland.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are hoping it\u2019s just Channel 4 checking complaints from obsessed (Celtic) fans and the infamous mug will be back on our member\u2019s coffee table for the next show.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Glasgow-born Charles appears on the show with wife Donna, 48, and son Grant, 19, at the family home in Croydon, south London.<\/em><\/p>\n

The cup also carries the slogan \u2018We\u2019re the boys from the Toll\u2019 \u2014 in honour of the neighbourhood.<\/em><\/p>\n

One Hibs fan wrote on Twitter: \u201cQue\u00ads\u00adtionable mug on the table from this new family.\u201d The Manuels\u2019 appearance was also hit by viewers complaining that they couldn\u2019t fathom their accents.<\/em><\/p>\n

Twitter user L Copeland wrote: \u201cI can\u2019t understand the new Scottish woman on Gogglebox \u2014 and I\u2019m from Glasgow.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Gogglebox \u2014 watched by up to three million viewers every week \u2014 features families commenting on TV shows from their sofas.<\/em><\/p>\n

Watchdog Ofcom said it has had no complaints about the cup.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Channel 4 said: \u201cWe apologise for any offence caused by this oversight which breached protocols on promotional items app\u00adearing on the show.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cAs soon as we became aware we took immediate action to ensure it was no longer visible in re\u00adpeats or on All 4.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Ministry of Defence wor\u00adk\u00ader Donna said last night: \u201cI wouldn\u2019t be able to comment.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

That report appeared in a national newspaper-oh, alright, The Sun,- and I’ve read it twice. I have to admit I’m stunned. When did that lot start to drink from cups ? How can they do that without opposable \u00a0thumbs ?<\/p>\n

Mind you, this nonsense about not being able to understand their accents is a little unfair. They’ve only just mastered drinking from a cup. Intelligent communication is probably decades away.<\/p>\n

Speaking of intelligent communication, Radio Clyde’s superscoreboard, another gaggle of gonks who talk amongst themselves on air, tweeted this last night, in response to criticism that they may be a little over enthusiastic towards a particular first division club…<\/p>\n

Which prompted an extremely poignant question from someone who appears to be remarkably intelligent;<\/p>\n
