Craig Gordon was forced into making a couple of decent saves, a couple of the defenders, namely the much maligned Efe and Emilio double act showed that they can defend, and it was rounded off with a Tom rogic classic strike, two typically well taken Leigh Griffiths goals and a superb glancing header from Nir Biton.

Importantly, there was a stage, at 3-0, when after County pulled one back, the old nervousness re-appeared at the back. On more than one occasion the highlanders were allowed space and time and better finishing may have led to a much closer scoreline. however, the hoops held out, and instead of collapsing, they hung on.

I’d still rather see a calm and composed defence, but they kept the ball out this time, and I suppose it’s a start.

Ronny Deila has complained in the past about the long trips to away games immediately after European ties, and they don’t come much longer than Dingwall, so maybe we should cut the lads a bit of slack.

Like Hugh Keevins did;

hugh keevins ‏<s style="color: #b1bbc3;">@</s>shinjukushug 15h15 hours ago

knackered Celtic winning 4-1 in Dingwall sums up how easy it is in Scotland and why Europe is the benchmark for them.

If I was Jim McIntyre, I’d punch his face in.

It’s sickening when someone wh has made a living off the back of the game constantly runs it down, purely to suit a media agenda.
