I asked a question a few week ago on E Tims regarding the possibility of perhaps raising extra Capital for our Club to bring in Marquee\/Quality signings.
\nIt was based loosely round a fan back fund aimed at all Celtic fans the World over.
\nThe basic gist was you would donate a minimum of a fiver to a Club run Fund (more if you desired and could afford it) in order for the Club to have access to better quality signings that currently we simply cannot afford.
\nThus improving our chances of once again competing against Europes finest.
\nEuropa League is all fine and well but I know deep down we all prefer the big challenge.
\nSince the original Thread\u00a0https:\/\/etims.net\/?p=7914<\/a>\u00a0there has been a further thread put forward by Monti discussing other Revenue streams we could venture down as a Club all of which most would agree is something that must happen if we are to be serious about competing again at the top table should we get there?
\nWell this got me to thinking of a way where perhaps we could put the theory to the test that fans all over could buy into an idea such as those discussed?
\nDo some actual Market research where real money is the barometer of how viable a plan this is if you like?
\nObviously folk won’t just chuck money at an idea for no reason but it got me to thinking could we not all simply make a \u00a35 donation to the Celtic Foundation?
\nPerhaps leave a marker say Fund67 or something when you leave the Donation?
\nI thoroughly believe most folk would gladly give a \u00a35 knowing it was going to help someone in some way anyway but at the same time the Foundation get’s a massive boost before Christmas and this in itself could jolt the Club into undertaking such an idea if enough Capital Suddenly hit the Foundation Accounts?
\nI believe a sudden increase would certainly raise a few eyebrows.
\nI think this could be a way to initiating a change for the positive at Celtic and at the same time show all concerned that this could be a viable option for both Club and Support(far and wide).
\nWhat do you say folks?
\nI would like to see this idea put onto to all Celtic Sites and sent to all CSC’s out there so we can see if we can start something potentially game changing for our Club.
\nThere would be no losers in this someone will be getting help while we possibly help ourselves in the long run.
