If i ramble on for too long I’ll lose the point I’m going to make.

Sit down. Take a deep breath. Relax.

You can’t, can you ?

Nor me.

That was shite. right up there with Nuechatel Xamax, with Artmedia , with Lyon after Larsson broke his leg.

Celtic were beaten by a better team. Like Fenerbache were, and Ajax nearly were.

Every one of us has our own opinion as to why we were not only beaten, but well beaten.

It’s Ronny’s fault-It’s john Collins, it’s Peter Lawwell.

It’s because we signed Carlton Cole, or whatever else we can pin the blame on to avoid facing the real truth.

A truth that became evident as the game went on.

The players don’t give a toss.

That wasn’t a Celtic team out there last night. That was some guys in green shirts , which appear indeed to have shrunk to fit inferior players. although as much as i’d like to, we can’t blame that on New Balance.

The petualnce, or passion, shown by Kris Commons when he was replaced by Nadir Ciftci when Deila decided to go with two up front is indicative perhaps of a much deeper problem at Celtic Park, a problem which has surfaced since Virgil van Dijk left, and has now come to the fore.

Commons had a go at Colllins and Kennedy. That doesn’t concern me, it shows he cares. But it would have been better to show that passion before he was taken off, maybe infecting the docile bunch around him.

And they were docile, which is why we got beat.

There was no attempt to lift the game to a tempo we know they players are capable of.

Instead we got half arsed tackles, piss poor passing and the usual aimless pots at goal.

Now this is up to Deila to sort out. He is the manager. but calls for his head ?

Get a grip. If the players can pay him lip service at Lennoxtown and then take the piss on matchdays, then what chance has he got ?

What chance would someone else have ?

Commons may well have his own opinions on how the game should have been played, or indeed what players should have been asked to play it.

But he isn’t the manager, and his only concern should be how he performs, and perhaps encouraging those around him to perform better.

There is a time and place to have a go at your gaffers, and it isn’t on national tv.

And to be honest, Collins ( that smarmy look he gave commons ) and Kennedy should also be disciplined for their outburst.

Theres still three games to play, two at home. We need to win all three.

We won’t do that by sacking the manager.

We won’t do that by sacking the coaches.

We will do that by reminding the players they play for Celtic, and need to grow back into those jerseys. They need to show the passion , commitment and skill that got them into those jerseys in the first place.

Hooped jerseys that is. Maybe we are shite away from home because we insist on wearing tops that are designed for their saleability.

We should wear the hoops away from home in europe.

It would remind the players who they are representing.

Because last night they appeared to have forgotten.

 I’ll keep it short today.
