I can\u2019t believe Hibs are reluctant to sell Scotland\u2019s best young player Scott Allan to European giants Rangers.<\/p>\n
I was in a state of shock when they refused South African based Trillionaire Dave King\u2019s over investment offer of \u00a3750,000 for the 23-year-old midfielder.<\/p>\n
The Hibs fans (spit) detest Rangers and would happily see innocent Scott sold to any other club, including Hearts, as would their chief executive Leeann Dempster (spit) and Celtic loving manager Alan Stubbs (spit, spit spittity spit) who have come out and stressed he is for sale but not just to the glorious Queen\u2019s XI.<\/p>\n
Hibs have a major responsibility to the players feelings and the benefit young Scott moving to Rangers will bring to the over-excited Scottish press pack. Poor Scott has made it clear he loves Rangers more than life itself and wants to sign for them right now. He has told Hibs as much \u2013 what more can the innocent player do?<\/p>\n
If the move doesn\u2019t go ahead where does that leave the neglected sprite? How will he cope? What state will his head be in? How will the press keep our nappies dry?<\/p>\n
Hibs can say to him: \u201cWe are bad basturts so you\u2019re staying here for another season.\u201d<\/p>\n
But will he survive the emotional turbulence?<\/p>\n
Will he decide he just can\u2019t take any more, pack up the game for good and deny Scottish football its first world class player since Derek Johnstone?<\/p>\n
Now we have a major group among the Hibs, Aberdeen, Dundee United and Celtic support (make no mistake supporters from the other three teams have joined forces with the Hibs fans) giving Scott a dreadful time on social media. Something you would never get if the roles were reversed and it was Rangers loyal set of supporters who are fine upstanding pillars of their local communities.<\/p>\n
As soon as Scott has a hair out of place, farts in the wrong direction or doesn\u2019t save a drowning puppy he will get horrendous abuse from as angry a set of supporters ever to have walked God\u2019s planet. Hibs MUST take the players welfare into consideration.<\/p>\n
I have seen it happen all too often. It is a ridiculous decision by Hibs not accepting offers from Rangers and at this point the SFA would traditionally step in.<\/p>\n
Back in the day of George Peat and Campbell Ogilvie it would never have reached this junction. They would have quietly contacted Hibs and told them to make it happen as when Rangers come calling you don\u2019t pause or dither \u2013 you do as you are told<\/p>\n
I would normally expect the SFA to finally raise its head above the parapet and bring this unsavoury treatment of a brilliant young talent to a sudden end \u2013 but – with Petrie, Lawwell and Thompson now inexcusably part of the SFA and creating a Catholic mafia cabal there\u2019s more chance of Ally giving up gardening leave than there is of the SFA backing Glasgow Rangers<\/p>\n
