When I cancelled it last month they screwed another month out of me due to the contract i appear to be on, so today will be the first day when I have to seek alternative ways to catch the game.

Do I head to a bar ? Do I look for one of these ?

From what I hear loads of people gather by them to watch the game, for free, but I’m no expert on technology and can’t see how that works.

I’ll think of something.

Aberdeens 2-1 win over Inverness yesterday, a game which would have made me feel better if both teams had lost, means that Celtic won’t win the league next Friday at home to Dundee. a bit of a disappointment as we’ve already made plans to travel, and now it will just be a routine long day at an awkward time.

It does add a bit of bite to the Pittodrie clash a week later, though.

Who’d have thought it, a title decider in May against our closest opposition, who deserve a lot of credit for clinging on in there ?

Well, not quite a decider, but it could get very nervy if we don’t win that one.

Or the one today, come to think of it.

Armageddon indeed.

Celtic may not be playing well at the moment, but Dundee Utd have completely fell apart.

Fortunately.

The hoops seem to have lost their way a bit, and manager Ronny Deila has returned to the uncertainty that he showed earlier in the season. He’s proved he’s not a diddy, but he’s only a couple of defeats away from , well, having some serious questions asked of him.

You could argue that the players are tired, or that we’re having a bit of bad luck in front of goal, but the problem with playing teams four times in a season means that they quickly learn how to play against you, and Ronny’ rigidity is starting to backfire.

Inverness showed that Celtic are uncomfortable against a strong , pressing game. It’s a kind of flattery that others are copying the style, but it’s extremely frustrating when they are doing it at least as well as we are.

Suddenly, the squad is looking a little thin, where a few months ago we seemed to have an abundance of riches, with all the players desperate to get a start and hungry to do well.

Now they appear to be going through the motions.

The decision to loan Liam Henderson out may have bitten Deila in the arse. The youngster could always be relied on to add something to the side when he played, and although Armstrong and Mackay Steven have added to it, it’s a very tired looking Stefan Johansen and Kris Commons who are being counted on to win matches.

It needs to be freshened up, not quite to the extent of giving Wakaso or Tonev a start, but maybe leaving johansen and Commons out for a bit.

Hell, I’d even not object to Calum MacGregor being given a chance to recapture his early season promise.

The biggest problem remains up front. One striker isn’t working domestically. The other sides just crowd him out.

Thats why we have a number of people scoring, but can’t rely on a forward who can get us out of a hole when it’s needed.

So we should double the threat up front.

And not with Guidetti. He’s not interested in staying, so we need to give the next in line a shot.

Today, I’d like to see a surprise or two. ( Not that I’ll see it )

4-4-2

Gordon, Matthews, Denaayer, van Dijk, Izaguirre, Brown, Bitton, Armstrong, Mackay Steven, Griffiths, Scepovic.

By the time Dundee United realise whats going on, and adjusted, they’ll be down and out.

The papers have been running with a story that Celtic could be interested in bringing Rafael van der Vaart to Glasgow, a rumour so ridiculous that it didn’t even get into the Etims Rumour Mill.

There was one we left out though, as we thought it a bit , well, unlikely.

But if the MSM are going to try to out rumour the rumour mill, it’s only fair we should fight back.

Ready ?

You might not like it…

Craig Mackail Smith.

Steve Claridge posted a scouting report on 23 September 2008 on Mackail-Smith he described him as “a rampaging Nordic Viking with his long blond hair”,[8] and he was impressed by the way he would pick up the ball and run at defenders, attacking at every opportunity in what Claridge described as a positive way.
