Sadly it didn\u2019t come the very next day, as everybody would have liked that. He\u2019s always trying to make us into a better team. He wants performances as well as results.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI see him day in, day out, everything he does shows he\u2019s definitely the man for the job and we\u2019re all 100 per cent behind him.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s been a lot of talking but it\u2019s up to us to get on the pitch and just do it.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThings just don\u2019t fall into place, you need to work at it, especially when a new manager has come in from abroad with different ideas.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve got to be ready and take responsibility as players.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cA lot of the time the manager takes the flak but we have got to hold our hands up, and step up and be counted.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s up to us at the end of the day, we are on the pitch and need to do our jobs.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Mulgrew has missed Celtic\u2019s last eight games after being forced onto the sidelines by a knee injury.<\/em><\/p>\n But he is now back in full training after having an injection in his knee and has targeted Celtic\u2019s clash with the Dingwall side for his return.<\/em><\/p>\n He said: \u201cI was carrying the injury in the background for five weeks and thought I had better get it sorted.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThankfully I got the injection and it has worked perfectly. It\u2019s just good to get back.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve put in a full week of running and training this week so it\u2019s feeling great and I\u2019m delighted. It was a cortisone and steroid injection, two of them.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI was a bit wary because I hadn\u2019t had one before and you don\u2019t want to get them if there\u2019s an underlying problem, but it was a top specialist who recommended that I have it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Like him or not, we’ve missed Mulgrew. He’s part of the furniture at Celtic, and his contribution to the team is immense. He might not be the worlds greates player, but when he takes a free kick in a dangerous position the seagulls know they’re usually pretty safe.<\/p>\n He never hides, and always puts in a shift. In fact, just adding him to the midfield in place of one of the wingers would make Celts at least joint favourites to get a result at Ross County next week.<\/p>\n Roy Keane hasn’t given up on being the Celtic boss just yet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n I think you have to be open-minded.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Makes you wonder if moves have already been made to replace Deila… Or is Keane just attention seeking. More likely the latter…..<\/p>\n He’s got a new book out just now, and pretty much all of it has already appeared in the papers or on twitter.<\/p>\n Judging from the bits I’ve seen, it’s a sequel to his first book, “Everyones A Tosser ” , his second, which was “Everyones Still \u00a0A Tosser. ”<\/p>\n This ones caleed “I’m Telling You, Everyones a Tosser. ”<\/p>\n He’s even got someone to publicise it for him;<\/p>\n Which was a bit of a surprise, as I though this chap was no longer around anymore, having got himself into a bit of bother when he searched ETIM on his computer at work.<\/p>\n Keane reckons he was tenth choice to get the Celtic job last summer, but theres a reason for that. Lawwell didn’t have time to interview twenty candidates.<\/p>\n “With Celtic I was probably about 10th choice. I’ve heard on the grapevine that one or two other people turned the job down, which wasn’t an issue for me.<\/em><\/p>\n “At the time the negotiations didn’t go the way I’d hoped they would have gone but I’m not sitting around waiting for people to lose their jobs.”\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n He’s dismissing it, and at the same time perpetuating speculation that he’s available.<\/p>\n \u00a0Which, on account of him already turning the job down, means we need to get right behind Deila.
