Frankly , I have no idea what that means and i’ve just spent about half an hour staring at it telling me not to switch it off while it’s doing it.<\/p>\n

I did have a look at using the wife’s laptop, but it’s far more modern than mine, which has the logo “good luck Tommy in the trenches ” on the cover, but it confused me.<\/p>\n

However, I ended up looking at her search history and now know exactly what to get her for Valentine’s Day<\/p>\n

I hope she doesn’t read this….it would spoil the surprise.<\/p>\n

Mixed message<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n A Rangers marketing campaign last year focused on an ideology of inclusivity – \u2018Everyone, Anyone\u2019 – a laudable and progressive step to move the club away from some of the cultural attitudes that belong to a different era. It makes little sense, then, to play in and promote an orange kit that carries unambiguous and irrevocable connotations with the very elements they wish to unshackle themselves from.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n That’s my ghast completely flabbered.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n No one else has mentioned this, let alone accused the Ibrox club of playing to the gallery, and if you do nothing else today, buy a copy of the Scotsman,<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n If they see their sales rise, we might get articles on the five way agreement, the perception of bias in referees and possibly even a congratulatory article celebrating a decade of the new club.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hope springs eternal…..<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Compare and contrast with the nonsense that is put forward from the old guard in the media, it’s bright and refreshing.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Graeme spiers, for instance, hosts a podcast that asked this week why we were seeing the return of songs of hate at football….which implies that they actually went away for a while, whilst when a particular support can offer nothing but those particular ditties that kind of can;t happen.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Unless there’s a global pandemic and you lock them all out.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Anyhoo, you’re not here for that kind of talk, you want to know what’s been going on at the ranch.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the absence of any real news, we’ve done a bit of digging\/made some shite up (depending on how you rate our pish stained drunks and their information ) and some of it makes sense, and frankly some of it is terrifying.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n First, Peter Lawwell is not back in the saddle, He can make the tea and check the water bottles are in place ahead of meetings, and that’s about all.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Yes, he offers his opinion, and yes he is listened to politely but his day has come and gone.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n For those of you who reckon we’re heading back to the days of him being the alpha\u00a0 male are wrong, and our manager is still getting what he wants from the board.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Georgios Giakoumakis wants a bigger contract, he’s popular at Celtic and an extremely likeable guy, but the biological clock spares no one and he is looking for his last big contract, and Celtic seem reluctant to give him what he wants.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Which is why there will be a new guy in town shortly. A fellow called Oh.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The same seems to apply to Josip Juranovic, and that’s just the way it is.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There will be others leaving, but that’s the way Ange runs things, he’s a little more ruthless than the cuddly marsupial image he puts across on the telly, unless you’re a reporter , that is.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Which brings me to the bad news…..if, indeed , it’s news, and not just the opinion of our urine soaked friend.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n There is a real fear at the club that when West Ham, Leeds Leicester or any other mid table obscurity sacks their manager, they will move for ours.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n And there’s a real fear he will go….a genuine worry that he’s about to leave for pastures new, if not particularly inviting.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n I like to think he lacks the moral flexibility of such as Brendan Rodgers, and will stay for at least another UCL campaign, it’s hard to believe he’s dragged so many players across the world to play for him knowing he isn’t here for the long haul, so whilst I’m dutifully reporting what we heard, so I’m taking it with a pinch of salt.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Meantime, why not cheer yourself up with a caption competition……?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" That’s the laptop up and running again, apparently it wanted to reconfigure itself.
