Output has been non existent here online and in the land of Podcasts and a few folk have been raising concerns.<\/p>\n
Im glad to say No Comas but its just a dreadful feeling of malaise….a great cloud of\u00a0 “Just fucking end” in respect to this season.<\/p>\n
Even Ralphs diary has been struck by a combination of Toothache, work demands and downright bugger all to say!<\/p>\n
Its all just one big Shrug.<\/p>\n

Not even the Scottish Cup game at Ibrox could get us very excited and even more so when we watched that dourness unfold.<\/p>\n
Being a Celtic fan is like Droopy the cartoon dog\u00a0 – We all sit around with the permanent “Life is Pish!” expression and dire lack of anticipation in life.<\/p>\n
Not even the joy of St Johnstone surprising Stevie G at the last minute in subsequent cup tie could shake off our Celtic inflicted fug, although it did raise a smile and a laugh or two.<\/p>\n

Of course, you already know this. We are all feeling the same. Well almost all of us. It seems the Board are quite content ambling along doing whatever The Board do ( does anyone really know? – Ed<\/em>).<\/p>\n Dominic McKay arrived on 19th April and we have heard heehaw but we did get to see Peter Lawwell and Brian Wilson sitting comfortable at Ibrox last week so that was nice. Hope the half time provisions were tasty.<\/p>\n The search for a Manager may currently go on, we don’t know. No one knows anything!<\/p>\n We dont know if The Board have found the man, or management Team to take us forward or if we are in final negotiations with the Chosen One.<\/p>\n We all just sit here wondering if the sun will rise again and lift this darkness.<\/p>\n Every week seems to suggest someone close and then that rumour dies on its arse, which has been our main reason for avoiding Podcasts, why talk on pure empty speculation just to “generate content” , thats Hugh Keevins and SuperScoreboard’s job.<\/p>\n Its the same regards the new super modern structure wishes that we all have for the Club.<\/p>\n That Director of Football role?….yip still not filled and no idea if we are even going to hire one..its just one of those gossip points we all convinced ourselves was happening by our ‘forward looking Board’.<\/p>\n As for a Head of Sports Science….A visionary Head of International Recruitment…a World renowned PR Guru..even The bloke in charge of installing a decent pitch at Lennoxtown….cue Situations Vacant sign.<\/p>\n And that’s all before we even consider The Players!<\/p>\n I asked on Twitter recently if anyone could hand on heart state which of the current team players would start the first League game of next Season.<\/p>\n A few suggested Turnbull. A few ventured Calmac. Many more just gulped and said “Not looking good is it?”<\/p>\n We are almost in May and have known we are a shambles since Autumn 2020.<\/p>\n We now face the prospect of not only losing most of our first team through exits, loan returns and an actual admission that the players arent good enough but also losing kids like Dembele after their progress was utterly ignored by the Board and previous Management Team. The neglect for future planning is truly outstanding.<\/p>\n At present our guaranteed first team players for August 2021 looks like being<\/p>\n Bain<\/strong><\/p>\n Ralston\u00a0 Welsh<\/strong> \u00a0Bitton\u00a0 Taylor\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Soro\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Liam Shaw<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Turnbull<\/strong><\/p>\n Forrest\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/strong>Mikey Johnston<\/strong><\/p>\n Ajeti<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n So thats<\/p>\n Bain<\/strong> ( never a first pick)<\/p>\n Welsh<\/strong> ( Lot of pressure on young man)<\/p>\n Nir Bitton<\/strong> ( sigh sigh sigh)<\/p>\n Antony Ralston<\/strong> ( yip he is still there!)<\/p>\n Taylor<\/strong> ( Great effort but limited)<\/p>\n Soro <\/strong>( Hoping to not be compared to “SuperBroony” every game next season)<\/p>\n Liam Shaw<\/strong> ( new Boy from Sheff Wednesday)<\/p>\n Turnbull<\/strong> ( Pressured to be The new Messiah when he should just be allowed to grow and\u00a0 flourish)<\/p>\n Forrest<\/strong> ( The new captain by default)<\/p>\n Mikey Johnston<\/strong> ( possibly injured reading team sheet)<\/p>\n Ajeti<\/strong> ( If he can be arsed)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n We basically have a decent 5 a-side team for a friday night in Shawlands Pitz…we could just about make The Tennents Sixes if they brought it back!<\/p>\n And thats it!<\/p>\n Apart from loan returners going home, our current squad could be getting their cases out the loft –<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jullien will quite possibly join Ntcham and Edouard on the French Taxi out of Parkhead.<\/p>\n Kris Ajer will finally fulfill one of those exit rumours and head off somewhere exotic, or Southampton.<\/p>\n Calmac may finally give up having to play 4000 minutes of football a year and seek a trip to England along with Ryan Christie.<\/p>\n Broony is off up North and may well be joined by Griff who surely cant be expecting that \u00a31m signing extension?<\/p>\n Tom Rogic will join Barkas as they fly to sunnier climes and hopefully Tom wont get injured walking through Customs.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n We do have some young starlets like Luca Connell who deserve their chance but its questionable if a new under pressure manager will dare risk it. The cycle of self inflicted pain repeats.<\/p>\n We do of course have returning stars like Ntcham, Hendry and Schved…ha..who am i kidding!<\/p>\n So its looking like some job for next manager and all the while time continues to run down and down and we know that no one can beat time.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Like every other season, once again Celtic will be running around like green arsed flies at the last minute trying to secure loan deals and pick up second and 3rd choice players for key roles OR The Board will be throwing fans money around like confetti to purchase over priced players as clubs look to cash in knowing we are desperate.<\/p>\n But hey, its not all doom and gloom…the Clubs Marketing and Media Teams have had great fun telling us how the Superstores are now open again and whose birthday we should be out there celebrating.<\/p>\n So sadly, for now, it doesnt look like we have much to say or to discuss. 3 games to go and the League is over. The players will disappear and all eyes once again will be on The Board wondering just what in the Hell they are going to come up with to appease a very dissatisfied crowd.
