But its not a derby, and they aren’t donkeys. however, getting them used to each other will get the defence ready for when we do play the donkeys in the Glasgow derby.<\/p>\n

For Celtic, the season starts now, and a result and performance today will lift the sagging spirits among the support, and on that basis the last thing we need is a protest outside the ground.<\/p>\n

If you are going to turn up, then support the players, there’s not even any need to mention the incompetents in the board room.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Which brings me to the Celtic Trust…as its their job, with their boosted membership to act as mediators between us who pay for the club and those who spend that money.<\/p>\n

We need to know why there is a CEO in place who has lied to shareholders, and if he lies to us then they need to be aware that he may well be lying to them as well.<\/p>\n

Can Desmond trust him ? Can anyone trust him ?<\/p>\n

There’s an AGM for that sort of thing though, and thats when the pressure should be out on him to explain his actions that have led to a situation where shareholders feel they have someone representing them who they simply cannot trust.<\/p>\n

Their picking up the baton will show if they are serious about tackling the real issue of lost trust which is mentioned in the Celtic Star article which I hope everyone with an interest in Celtic treading an honest path in the future will read.<\/em><\/p>\n
The hod carriers have delivered the bricks and are very grateful for the support and encouragement from E Tims over the years (Richie et al are invited to share the future pint) but if an honest house is to be built from the bricks , the CST, with the backing of a larger support, whether CST members or not with their existing buying power, rather than shares tomorrow, will be the fastest way to achieving what the CST want to have, the ability to present the feelings of supporters to a Board on a regular basis so that the clusterfupp that is the 5 Way Agreement, The Rangers \u201cGet Out Of Jail Free with the Swag \u201d card can never ever happen again.<\/em><\/p>\n
So watch out for Celtic\u2019s response to questions posed by over 50 untrusting shareholders to the AGM, two of which samples can be read in the Celtic Star blog or from Phil MacGiolla Bhain\u2019s blog already linked to yesterday and if it it is not sufficiently reassuring, watch for any follow up statement from the CST in terms of taking over ownership from the small band of brothers who have made Celtic accountable by finally doing what they should have done in 2013 and taken responsibility themselves to pursue with UEFA although we now know why they didn\u2019t, it was not in The Company\u2019s interest says Peter Lawwell.
