Although they should be on BT Sport, and that means there will probably be streams,

The quality may not be great, but when a consumer base is treated with disdain they will find other ways to get the product. sometimes settling for poorer quality at a reduced rate….

The SFA have clearly gone for the money on offer from Premier sports rather than consideration for a support that right now is paying an awful lot of money for nothing, paying it out of loyalty to clubs which may well have folded if they hadn’t.

Whats interesting, and somewhat worrying , is that no one at Hampden from either organisation is making any sort of plans for the inevitable, which is that supporters are not going to see a game until some time in the spring.

Thats if there are any games to see….

But, while they are still being played, we should enjoy them.

And whilst the Sarajevo game will only be remembered for the result, it means that European football until Christmas is guaranteed for the tenth successive season, and that should ease some of the pressure on manager Neil Lennon, who has only lost one game since the restart, but it turned out to be pretty costly.

Celtic were top seeds before yesterdays draw, but it doesn’t seem to have helped, although it is worth remembering that if those sides were any good, they wouldn’t be in the Europa League either.

Then again, what does that say about us…?

We had an off night ?

I’m hoping so, especially given that the two subsequent games were both away from home and the performances away from Celtic Park in Europe have been much better than those at home of late.

Scotlands other European survivors, “rangers “, also made the cut, and some in the media couldn’t hide their delight….

Celtic’s qualification, their tenth in a row , remember, didn’t quite match the excitement….

Surprising, really , given that Alison Conroy, the new head of Clyde sport, seems to be a bit of a Neil Lennon fan…

<img decoding="async" src="https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BdjamDCCIAA0wGZ.jpg" alt="SPORTbible on Twitter: "Neil Lennon calendar: January.
