After criticism over the prices for season books , Celtic moved quickly to leak pictures of the new kits for next season…<\/p>\n

These pictures emerged online and provided a welcome distraction for the board, who needed to end the run of PR cock-ups and get at least some of the fans back onside again.<\/p>\n

For the home kit, it’s green and white hoops again…..<\/p>\n

Quite a few hoops, as you can see. Thirteen and a half, which represents exactly one quarter of the titles won by the old entity from Ibrox, another subliminal message from the Old Firm cabal at Parkhead…( oh , for fucks sake-Ed )<\/p>\n

The away kit, the one that is for adults and will be used in away matches looks like this….<\/p>\n

Black has been the biggest selling colour in away tops, and it looks like the club have finally ditched the yellow and green template as although it looks good, it doesn’t sell as well, and thats what matters.<\/p>\n

There’s no release date as yet, mainly because adidas haven’t made them in any sort of quantity , due to the plague being in town, but no doubt they’ll be on the shelves as soon as possible, even if we’re not allowed in the shops to buy them.<\/p>\n

Liam Burt, the man feted as the next Lewis MacLoed\/Jamie Ness \/John Fleck by an adoring Scottish media joined Celtic from Ibrox and will now be on his way from there as well.<\/p>\n

The club , having had a look at him , have decided he can move on, and word is they could be going for another Ibrox star, but they’ll have to be quick, as there has been another offer….<\/p>\n

John Barnes , incredibly a Celtic manager once, had those of us who remember his tenure at the club reaching for the anti depressants when he surfaced on a podcast this week.<\/div>\n

    \u00a0As usual , Barnes blamed everyone else and hinted that subliminal racism within the Celtic support meant that he wasn’t given enough time at the club to sort out the problems that he had created.<\/div>\n

    \u00a0Barnes started well, as well as anyone , in fact, but when talismanic striker Henrik Larsson broke his leg things started to go wrong, and as other teams began to work out his 4-2-2-2 system results suffered, fans suffered and his mentor Kenny Dalglish was called on to sort it all out , which he did by steadying the ship a little and handing over the reigns to Martin O’Neill, which then led to a remarkable period on the clubs history , and so perhaps the contribution of Barnes wasn;t that bad after all…..but he could leave the racism bit out….Tony Mowbray, Lou Macari and Liam Brady, amongst others, proved that longevity and patience are not afforded to Celtic managers of the results aren’t there…<\/div>\n

    \u00a0Of those three, one was a great Celtic player, one a great captain who gave us the now iconic huddle, having played through a terrible personal period in his life, and the other an Irish legend , and they got probably more stick than even Barnes during their time at the helm.<\/div>\n
