When you finally calm down after the triumph of your political favourites down in westminster, and when Sir Rod Stewart has finished his soup, there’s a few questions I’d like you to consider, as you have said previously that you no longer wish to pursue the Resolution 12 issue, claiming it is not in the interests of the club.<\/p>\n
Let’s assume, as it wasn’t exactly a secret that Rangers were in a spot of fiscal bother, that the board knew of the impending meltdown, and the efforts being made by the governing bodies to try to prevent it.<\/p>\n
If the plc board had decided in their (wisdom)\/panic between 2011 and 2012 that a financial disaster i.e. Rangers collapse and imminent liquidation would greatly impact upon Celtic surely an EGM could have been called to outline a strategy that would if agreed with shareholders would minimise any damage done and would have allowed the board an opportunity to present a unified front in any ongoing negotiations.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

For example,<\/p>\n
If you knew another company you were very close with was visibly having cashflow problems but was continuing to write cheques for outlandish purchases, would you not be ensuring that this was not having a negative effect upon your business?\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
We paid our bills, as did other clubsm and continued to live within our means . Could we not have drawn attention to their antics, and asked for some kind of brake to be applied to it ?<\/p>\n
Indeed, one has to ask..<\/p>\n
Were you negligent in not seeing where this would end, being left with no agreed\/planned position or support?\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Which leads me to ask, rather worryingly,<\/p>\n
Have you as a board done ALL you COULD to ensure that Celtic FC were treated honestly in our dealings with the governing bodies in Scotland? <\/i><\/p>\n
And can you say with confidence, that that remains the case ?\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
And, of course, if not, what have YOU done in the search for redress and recompense?\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Your refusal to follow the Resolution 12 isue, and to take it up with the relevant authorities, be it within or without the sphere of Scottish football, leads me to ask..<\/p>\n
In relation to “Resolution 12” is your final answer to the support “LET’S ALL JUST MOVE ON”? and forget until the next time?\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n
And there does seem to be more than enough evidence to suspect there will be a next time, evidence that will be found in the accounts of the replacement entity.<\/p>\n

I leave you with this rather troubling thought, and i would like to think it’s one that you will consider, as many Celtic supporters and shareholders are more than a little worried about your somewhat negligent attitude to what has been referred to as the greatest sporting scandal in European history….<\/p>\n
All Celtic supporters should be able to trust our board to work in the best interests of the club, but unfortunately we as supporters have no voice and no unity. This makes the task of finding out the truth a difficult one, I hope that we can find a way of uniting and fighting for the whole unvarnished truth. Only then can we begin to rebuild trust not only in Celtic but in Scottish football, we all work together or we collapse.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Right now, a lot of supporters and shareholders simply do not trust the board to act in the best interests of the club.<\/p>\n
Worringly, you are aware of that, and do not seem to wish to act on those fears.<\/p>\n
