The game had not yet started and they were here to face our Bhoys<\/h5>\n
Overcome and overwhelmed by Glasgow Celtic\u2019s noise<\/h5>\n
They brought Xavi, Iniesta and Messi came as well<\/h5>\n
They came to us in Paradise but to them it seemed like Hell.<\/h5>\n
The Tifo from The Green Brigade had hearts pumping aloud<\/h5>\n
When every fan looked on in awe and never felt so proud<\/h5>\n
Our Birthday celebrations left Barca at a loss<\/h5>\n
One Two Five with Celtic and a huge red Celtic Cross.<\/h5>\n
Barca played the Barca way, playing their passing game<\/h5>\n
The best team on the planet had rightly earned their fame<\/h5>\n
Possession wise they ran amok but we went for the kill<\/h5>\n
Alba rose for Mulgrew\u2019s cross but Vic rose higher still,<\/h5>\n
Wanyama\u2019s header burst the net and ripped this place apart<\/h5>\n
And then the world heard a voice that came straight from the heart.<\/h5>\n
The commentator\u2019s voice drowned out by The Glasgow Celtic roar<\/h5>\n
And the stadium was rocking like it\u2019d never done before.<\/h5>\n
Voices raised, players praised, Come On You Bhoys In Green<\/h5>\n
The Green Brigade had reached new heights, the volume was obscene<\/h5>\n
The post, the bar, they tested us but we stood strong and tall<\/h5>\n
Defending stoutly side by side whenever they had the ball<\/h5>\n
But Neil Lennon pulled a master stroke, not what everybody thought<\/h5>\n
He took off Michael Luistig and brought on Tony Watt<\/h5>\n
The thunder roared, the decibels, went off the Richter scale<\/h5>\n
As Tony left them in his wake and found The Holy Grail<\/h5>\n
Xavi missed, the young man charged, always in control<\/h5>\n
He picked his spot and lashed it home for Celtic\u2019s second goal.<\/h5>\n
The wee man ran into the crowd, to the stands where he once graced<\/h5>\n
His debut marked in Europe with a smile on his face.<\/h5>\n
This young man celebrated but this young man\u2019s not so raw,<\/h5>\n
As a serious Mr Lennon quipped, we might even get a draw!<\/h5>\n
Back they came, like bagatelle, the ball pinging from their feet<\/h5>\n
But Paradise had no intent, to wallow in defeat.<\/h5>\n
They threw themselves at every shot, each minute, more intense<\/h5>\n
Like warriors groomed for battle, each player was immense.<\/h5>\n
A late goal lost but we held on, in this electric atmosphere<\/h5>\n
Each passing second nearing, would bring an everlasting cheer.<\/h5>\n
The whistle blew, the place went wild, in Heaven\u2019s green and white<\/h5>\n
He said he\u2019d bring the thunder back, well, he brought it back tonight.<\/h5>\n
We\u2019d beaten the greatest ever team who were very gracious in defeat,<\/h5>\n
Who testified they\u2019d never seen or witnessed such a feat.<\/h5>\n
