We’ve been told that the “rangers ” are vastly improved, we’ve been reminded that that not only are they coming,\u00a0 journey is almost complete, yet yesterday I couldn’t help but wonder if we perhaps haven’t been fed one or two porkies.<\/p>\n

Celtic beat “rangers ” 1-0 but the reality is it wasn’t any different from the heavy defeats inflicted on them last season.<\/p>\n

Alright, the scoreline may have made some think it was a close game, but it really wasn’t, and if thats all they have to offer, after another summer of investment, then it could be said that their current league position of seventh is actually flattering them somewhat.<\/p>\n

There’s nothing to them. Nothing at all.<\/p>\n

And yet they still can’t see it.<\/p>\n

Their manager Steven Gerrard, looking a little shellshocked after the game, blamed the referee for not awarding a foul on Ryan Jack , who slipped after challenging with Tom Rogic for the ball-on the edge of the Celtic penalty box.<\/p>\n

Celts then broke away and with a few swift passes found Olivier Ntcham ready to score what proved to be the winner.<\/p>\n

Gerrard was raging. He probably still is.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re disappointed, it\u2019s our rivals and our first defeat together which will take a while to get over,\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Oh, you’ll get used to it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought we were growing in the game in the second half.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The first time they ventured into Celtic’s half was when they lost possession and Celtic scored. They’d parked the bus in the first and were lucky not to be two or three down at the break.<\/p>\n

He might have a point, as when Collum blew the whistle to start the game, “rangers ” fell apart almost immediately.<\/p>\n

But in the end, it was the same old faces , with the same old expressions…<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

And when the poor souls were forced to stay behind, as is the norm with away fans, they were treated to a lap of honour from Celtic, as is the norm, even when like yesterday, we beat the wee teams..<\/p>\n
