After complaints that Celtic were funding “rangers ” by hiring a coach every couple of weeks, the board, their finger ever on the pulse, moved swiftly to get supporters back on side…<\/p>\n

Dreams FC coach Charles Akunnor has joined Scottish giants Celtic FC on attachment.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Akunnor, who joined helped sustained Obuasi-based AshantiGold SC Ghana Premier League premiership status,\u00a0arrived in Celtic on Thursday and would under study manager Brendan Rogers.<\/em><\/p>\n

His time at Celtic forms part of his self-funded knowledge sharing trip of European top clubs on the current trend of the game.<\/em><\/p>\n

He has already had some stints in Germany with his former club Wolfsburg.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Akunnor will move to England for a last knowledge sharing experience at English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Well, at least they tried.<\/p>\n

It appears that Akunnor and Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers go way back, as this picture of them in prison stripes\u00a0 proves..<\/p>\n

Of course, the above is nonsense, but the Dreams coach is coming to Celtic to share knowledge and is funding it himself, which is probably what interested the board in the first place, and they just didn’t check what sort of coach it was. , Anyway, hopefully the knowledge he shares will include the names of a couple of decent centre halfs.<\/p>\n

Thats because we hear that Dedryck Boyata has decided to go halfers on a taxi with Jozo Simunovic after the Christmas rush has died down, and to add to that, Kristoffer Ajer fancies plying his trade elsewhere for the second half of the season, but his will be a return ticket. He wants a loan move.<\/p>\n

Erik Sviatchenko is back in training, and will be due his next injury early in the New Year, so we could be in trouble, and I’d hold off putting that each way tenner on Celtic in the Europa.<\/p>\n

Dorus Des Vries has signed an extension to his contract. Which came as a surprise, especially as he didn’t drop the pen, or move out of its way when it came near him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a player you want to be at the best clubs and Celtic is certainly up there. It\u2019s a great squad to play in, great technical staff who are enjoyable to work with as well, and, for me, everything is here to keep on going and make sure that we keep bringing trophies to this club.<\/em><\/p>\n

Reading between the lines, this appears to mean that he’ll do until Hazard or Doohan are ready to step up, and that Woods thinks either one or both of them will.<\/p>\n

I wouldn’t get too attached to Moussa Demebele, though.. as Brendan revealed..<\/p>\n

Well, the next bits are. The stuff above we made up all by ourselves. Apart from the bit about Des Vries. We thought about hinting he would sign a new deal, but figured it was too far fetched , even for us.<\/p>\n

The speculation around Liam Moore, a decent centre half at Reading, continues, and whilst he may suffice as the third of three coming in, there is a feeling that Rodgers wants their top man purely to piss Reading off, as they sacked him and tommy burns years ago.<\/p>\n

To be fair, if thats his motive, I don’t care of Moore has one leg, visual impairment and sings the Sash lustily in the shower after games.<\/p>\n

Bring him in.<\/p>\n

Then , in order to see who else is on the radar, according to the SMSM, you’ll need one of these..<\/p>\n

Celtic return this weekend with a trip to Ross County, and a 64th game without defeat will move us ahead of Sherrif Tiraspol of Moldova in the all time elite league.<\/p>\n
