<\/p>\nBefore we delve into the latest injury for the reborn winger, I’d just like to say a few words about the joy of parenting.<\/p>\n
As you may know, all my children have grown up-well, physically, at least-and christmas doesn;t quite hold the same appeal-or tension-that it did when they were little.<\/p>\n
However, now that they are older, and lucky enough to be working, a new joy is upon us. That of receiving presents from the kids as they try to compete for your affection!<\/p>\n

For Forrest, it couldn’t have come at a worse time, although he probably could do with a break, as Gary Mackay Stevens is ready and raring to go. Whilst many would say there is no need for four first class wingers in the squad, the evidence would suggest \u00a0there is. wingers get kicked, they get hurt and they lose form. Its good to have replacements of high quality, and Mackay Steven will be difficult to dislodge from the side if he gets going.<\/p>\n
The same applies to Patrick Roberts, who has stepped into the shoes of Scott Sinclair, and let nobody down. If Roberts is largely ignored when either of the two injured wingers are fit again, we’ll have a clue as to whether or not Rodgers is going to put in a bid for him.<\/p>\n
Roberts is on record as saying he wants to go back to the Etihad, but he was never going to say anything else, at least publically. and the room he shares with Keiran tierney at Lennoxtown is an indicator of how he really feels.<\/p>\n

But they would not move for our groundsman so the manager went up and moved them. That\u2019s not unsettling them. That\u2019s just him using his authority to go up and say: \u201cYou are in the wrong place, go and move.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \u2018It\u2019s a lack of respect from Celtic to say: \u201cWe don\u2019t care. We will just shoot into the goals. We will do what we want.\u201d So, no, I don\u2019t think we were unsettling them. That\u2019s maybe just a wee bit of a defence from Chris Davies after Celtic\u2019s first-half performance.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2018After the game, he [Davies] refused to shake hands with every member of our staff. For me, that is a lack of respect to everyone involved, especially considering how well we played and how much of a test we gave them.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2018He put his face in other people\u2019s faces, which is a lack of respect. To come and go right in someone\u2019s face having refused a handshake and make a gesture is totally wrong, no matter who you are. The manager took offence to that and quite rightly so.\u2019\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n On the transfer front, there was a surprise for all of us..<\/p>\n But as ever, the headline was misleading, and in fact its the Ladies team who have signed Sarah Crilly, who is no relation.
