“I haven’t spoken to the club but to be fair they knew where I was with a few big games on the horizon for me at Hibs but I would hope that over the course of this coming week that I might have some sort of correspondence from them,”
“I haven’t worked with Brendan or met him. I haven’t crossed paths with him in my career at all but I obviously know of him and I have to say that I thought it was a really great appointment from Celtic. He has a great reputation from playing attractive football and setting his stall out to go and win games.
“One of the reasons I wanted to go out on loan was to get fit, play games and be as sharp as I possibly could be. I feel that I am there now and hopefully if I get the chance to go back then I get the opportunity to show that. It is a blank canvas for everyone when a new manager comes in and it is a chance to go and stake a claim for a place in the team.
“I would love to be a part of it.
“I feel good. I am obviously happy at the minute, given what happened at the weekend. It was a big thing for me to help Hibs to win the Scottish Cup and it will live with me for the rest of my life. But we will see what happens next now.
“Brendan Rodgers’ appointment says it all. I am sure there were other candidates but he is the best that they could have got. It sets your stall out. It gives players something to think about, that’s for sure. “
No harm in keeping him as back up, at least. but he’ll have to move up a gear if he wants to be a regular.
And anyway, how do you tell Zlatan he’s not getting a guaranteed start ?
It’s going to be tough enough telling Steven Gerrard he’s only going to be used sparingly, but then again, his new role as player/ assistant manager might take some of the sting out of that.
Thats if you believe Fox Sports.
The football League World claims that Robert Snodgrass could be winging his way north as well, which would mean that Celtic may just about have enough cover in midfield, for about the next ten years by my reckoning, with Liam Henderson on his way back after his European tour.
Of course, a number of Celtic players will leave, though its hard to say which ones. there will be as much speculation on that as there is on who will come in, but surely Rodgers will want to take some time and look at what he already has before showing anyone the door ?
That would make sense, and it ties in with the news that players will be reporting back early for pre season training on June 20, giving the new boss plenty of time to get ready for the European campaign.
In the meantime, I guess we should all just go with the flow….
Elsehwere, and it pains me to mention this on a day when Celtic are stepping forward into a new era, , but I feel it should not pass without comment, the circling of the wagons to avoid paying attention to the real problem at ibrox, whatever it may be, began in spectacular fashion over the weekend.
After Hibernian won the cup in dramatic fashion, the Ibrox support proved that they are ore than capable of carrying on where the original Ibrox club’s support left off.
This gave their PR department a wonderful opportunity to recreate the old “everyone hates us 2 line, and their responses -notably the one last night-can only be described as bizarre.
Or inflammatory.
Or downright dangerous. you know, the sort of thing that the Offensive Behaviour Act was really brought in to deal with.
The Ibrox heirarchy seemed a little upset by the result
and this is before someone really drives the nails in…
The Ibrox club reacted in good spirit to their defeat, congratulating the winners…
Everyone appeared to be in the firing line, including nicola Sturgeon, despite her visit to Lee Wallace, the “rangers ” player brutally attacked on the pitch by armed Hibernian fans, who later went round to his house and flung his dug into a canal.
The Record went into overdrive as it confirms it really isn’t a newspaper any more.
Incidentally, we have an exclusive picture of the attack on Wallace, and some of the other players-eleven in total according to Keith Jackson at the former newspaper not seen previously;
Oh aye, Keith Jackson.
Fresh from his success as Sportswriter of the Year, he’s followed up with another piece that is sure to cement his position as the top hack in Scotland…
Except, of course Kenny Miller, who wasn’t attacked. His wife said so.
And then there was this, again from the Record, this time the online version..
Rangers legend Alex MacDonald: Hibs should be BOOTED out of Europe … just like we were after 1972 Cup Winners’ Cup win
The hysteria is beyond belief, or maybe it isn’t.
Faced with a new season at the highest level, a season for which they know they are woefully unequipped, both on the field and off it, there seems to be only one option for the Ibrox club.
Blame everyone else.
Of course, there are several things that should be addressed after the cup final, as there were a number of things that need to be dealt with.
But more than that, much more than that, the Ibrox club need to get there wings clipped, by the law if possible, because this statement is little more than an incitement to riot, which is what they usually do to turn the hordes w=away from asking too many questions about what is going on behind the doors and up the marble staircase.
Rangers finds it incomprehensible that no one, either from within the Scottish FA or Hibernian Football Club, has condemned Hibernian’s supporters following the violent scenes at the end of yesterday’s Scottish Cup final when Rangers players and members of our backroom staff were physically and verbally assaulted. We have not even had the courtesy of any contact whatsoever from Hibernian to ask after the wellbeing of those who were attacked by their club’s supporters.
Funnily enough, no-one from “rangers ” has congratulated hibernian on their win. Manager Mark Warburton has disappeared off the face of the earth.
There must be a full independent investigation into the shameful scenes at Hampden. Rangers is also at a complete loss to understand why certain individuals have hastily attempted to gloss over the appalling events which unfolded at the end of Saturday’s final.
Yeah. So am I.
No matter how many times Hibernian’s chairman and Scottish FA vice-chairman, Rod Petrie, and certain other biased commentators wish to play down Saturday’s mayhem and violence, the truth must not be distorted. What unfolded on Saturday cannot and must not be put down to exuberance. That is a complete insult to Rangers, our supporters, and those individuals who were intimidated and attacked.
These ones ?
The one who tried to abduct a child ?
Or this one, kicking the head of a prone teenager ?
Perhaps you mean this one, where a Hibs fan attempts to slide tackle a number of innocent “rangers ” supporters ?
It was clear to most of those who watched in horror that the Scottish FA’s security procedures failed when Hibernian’s fans went over the top in their thousands. It is to be hoped that all of Scottish football will share Rangers’ disgust and any attempts to attach blame to our supporters for the disgraceful and violent behaviour, which led to our players and fans fearing for their safety, will not be accepted or tolerated by this Club.
They look terrified
We acknowledge that a tiny minority of Rangers fans also encroached on the pitch but only after having been faced with prolonged and severe provocation and in order to protect our players and officials who were being visibly attacked in front of them. Any club’s supporters would have done the same. This distressing and deeply disturbing episode would never have happened had Hibs fans behaved properly but as they swarmed across the pitch it became immediately obvious that the security procedures were inadequate and had failed.
Prolonged and severe ? It was less than a minute.
These fans were allowed to rush, unchecked, towards Rangers supporters at the opposite end of the stadium – all the while goading and threatening them. This makes it preposterous to suggest Rangers fans were somehow to blame as some commentators appear anxious to do. This thuggish behaviour must be investigated and as many culprits as possible brought to book and formally charged. This is the second time in a year that Rangers fans have had to endure attacks by another club’s supporters.
Thuggish behaviour ? Well, they’d know all about that.
It must also be said that it was not at all helpful to see leading members of the Scottish Government, including the First Minister whose parish is Govan, passing comment on social media without any attempt to condemn the behaviour of Hibernian’s fans. These failures are unbecoming of our elected representatives.
Certain media outlets have also attempted to distort reality.
In the case of the BBC this is, of course, not news. BBC employees, in particular Stuart Cosgrove, believe Rod Petrie’s comments to be ‘balanced’ and others speak of a ‘minority’ of Hibernian supporters. Another, Tom English, who was not even at the match, would prefer the authorities to focus on Rangers fans’ reaction. We will not endure this insult.
And there is the bit that should see them in court.
So, let everyone be clear on one thing – Rangers demands that players, staff and fans be protected from the violence and hatred of supporters of other clubs. Rangers fully expects the Scottish FA and Police Scotland to take action to provide our people with a safe environment. When players are unable to accept medals at the end of a final because of fears for their safety and our supporters are alarmed and extremely concerned for the women and children among them, then surely every step must be taken to ensure that this is never repeated.
Never repeated ? Most of what is in that statement never happened in the first place. Not one image of a “rangers ” player being harmed. Yes, there were two examples of what could certainly be deemed threatening behaviour, and several instances where a charge of affray could be justified.
There isn’t even so much of picture of a saliva sodden shirt.
Mark Warburton hasn’t shown his face.
No wonder.
The police won’t be knocking on the doors at ibrox investigating the statement and its content, and quite possibly the intentions behind it. not yet anyway.
There’s another major investigation going on in Glasgow
Andybhoy scooped a caption competition winners medal, but has so far refused to come out to collect it. He siad, of yesterdays caption, that Police Scotland , despite their cattenaccio tactics, still managed to lose three goals to Hibs…
And todays caption competiton….well, what could these guys be discussing… ?
I’m sorry to have to mention that lot on a day when we should be looking forward, but it could not go unmentioned, because it appears they are up to their tricks again, deflecting from whatever the real problem is at Ibrox.
Next season, in the interests of public safety, would it not be an idea to refuse to give tickets to the Ibrox travelling support ?
It would also show them that no-one missed them.
Well, the weekends events showed what we were missing, what we had tried to forget about.
And now, it’s back.
Fucking hooray.
but don’t let it get you down. We have so much to look forward to, they are just trying to make themselves relevant, to apear as though we should care about them, by implying a hatred of who they are.
There’s no hatred to their club, only indifference.
The real concern is with the media and the authorities.
Can you imagine how we’d feel if there was no internet, no social media and only the press to rely on ?
Oh, wait, i think I’ve seen that film.
Celtic need to start lifting our mood again, and giving us back faith in the game.
Thankfully, that should happen around teatime.,
THERE WAS A YOUNG BHOY NAMED VINCENT SORRY VINNIE.

The scenes were very unsavoury, but as Alan Stubbs said he could understand the exucerberence but not excuse it. Enough said. The disturbing aspect of the “Rangers” statement is the use of “people”. They clearly are trying to stir the “peepil” with this shite which only a dim witted moron would actually believe. And there will be enough of them whipped into a frenzy because of this, in time for the coming summer marching season.
the irony of this blog saying Qs about rangers should be banned when 50% of the diary everyday is filled with news pertaining to them. as someone who doesn’t give a shit about rangers it does my head in having to skip so much stuff every morning
I don’t disagree. But as I said there rabble rousing is too important to leave out and I’ve tried to put it within the context of celtic moving forward. And I was fucked if theybwere getting a whole article about them.
LIARS, LIARS PANTS ON FIRE.
There statement is an absolute disgrace,a replica of themselves, they should never be allowed to dictate to Scottish fitba ever again and as for there lapdogs the bigoted BBC,Media and there sychophanic pals at the SFA,they should be cleared out of there Hampdump nest.
We need to be ready for them get our PR Department sorted.

A blatant and shameful attempt to get into Europe through the back door.
2 lots of fans on the pitch and so far the majority of the pictures show Hibs fans, including a child, being attacked by huns who also assaulted a police horse FFS. Maybe the horse provoked them right enough.
Sectarian singing for 90 minutes and flares being let off by the orcs.
What are the authorities going to do about this?
Exactly TonyB. That is Level5’s mission at this time. Use any means possible to open that Euro door for their undeserving brothers.
Remember the stoosie when 3 of our own set off a flair in Stranraer – will the same police action and media coverage occur for their own pyrotecnics plus the hun-believable multiple assaults on kids and teenagers?
today my only care is all about Celtic and our new manager, that is my only focus……we can deal with the scum later
thoughts on Steven Gerrard possibly coming ? i know he is 35 but he would be great for our young players to learn off

I expect coverage of that garbage from the so called unbiased Scottishmedia.
We should ignore this mob mentality, city after city in Europw will be delighted at the outcome, the comparison towRds 1972 Barcelona bears no comparison, I was there doing the airport ground handling for the flights, this is noteworthy covering,
We should concentrate on the future which is bright,

Leith was the place to be on Saturday and so glad we went down there.
The pub we went into was full of His fans but they were a wee bit quiet for my liking, let’s put it this way, I got they’re pub singing!
Great night and met a few new friends.

Aye we demand an sfa investigation to into years of corruption and blatent cheating to win 9 in a row! Notice the peeples statement forgot to mention them all chanting in unison about the feniens and hibs manager and the use of flares as well as confronting the hibs fans, funny that. Now they have petition saying hibs fans arent the type we need representing scottish football!. Msnchester?, villareal? . Haha couldnt make it up. Do t know about yous but i havnt had such a good laugh since they went out the game so keep the sevco stories coming ralph i love hearing about the deluded orcs and there wreckage of a club that is struggling to accept no one in scotland gives a fuck about them anymore hehe

Welcome to Celtic Brendan,i watched the interview on Cellic T.V,along with 10thousand others and a packed media room, with perhaps 40/50 inside he chaperoned by Bankier and Lawwell,he spoke very well and i did not hear anything raised that shoudnt have been (mind pesky phone call)he said the right things and handeled it very, very well.
He will take time to assess the current players, still try to develop the younger players and add to the team whereever required.Hail,Hail.
I like the fact that we wants a small squad, makes sense. Wage bill is smaller so that means we can pay more on better players coming in, keeps all the players happy because they are always getting a game and it gives our youth a chance too when a few players have injuries they can come in.
It’s so refreshing to listen to a manager that makes sense and who totally understands the club.
its just refreshing to look and not see deila standing there with Lawwells hand up his backside

But a told the Mrs we’d be going a trip to Europe !
HH
Ralph,
Early release today!
Well, well, well! What a difference a day makes as the old song says. On Saturday it appeared every Scottish football fan who had sense thought their dreams had come true i.e. they were the forgotten “peepil”. Then the gates of hell are opened once more to allow the torrent of unsupported accusations, the victimisation cards, brasen lies and hidden threats to gush forth from mouths that always have and always will believe they should never be silent. I can assure all of them, including the faceless Jabba whose autograph is written in invisible ink all over yesterday’s statement, I have felt the fear they talk of for 70 years and more at the very mention of the original or the new caramel fudge – see Worthers. My experience of them in their safeguarding mode was nothing short of terrifying. I witnessed the 1980 scenes and the fleeing hordes when faced with real fighters. Booting people when down or assaulting little kids is the extent of their bravery. Cowards at heart with a blue instead of yellow streak.
Now I know there are those who maintain we should leave them out of any discussions whether on here or anywhere else. Can I assure anyone of that mind I would love nothing more dearly. In 2012 I prayed they would disappear from God’s earth never to return. What a gullible old clown to think the Scottish hierarchy would ever allow such a thing. By doing so, they made it imperative that we continue to not only monitor but pursue the subversive behaviour of the club and its supporters whether they be football fans, governing bodies media or politicians. The reason we wake up every morning to more stories and comments about them in social media is because no other media is willing or has the guts to grasp the baton. Without taking hold no matter how hot, the race simply cannot be won and it desperately needs to be. Jon, yes it is “…the irony of this blog saying Qs about rangers should be banned when 50% of the diary everyday is filled with news pertaining to them. as someone who doesn’t give a shit about rangers it does my head in having to skip so much stuff every morning”. They and their co-conspirators make it so by their continued glossing of events both inside and outside the club. Be assured, Armageddon is a potential reality, as the prophet Regan foretold in some uncontrolled burp of wisdom. He just mistimed – a not uncommon trait of the man – the “when”. It was not in the departure of the original but in the creation of a new flavour that the destruction lies. He could have proved to be a man of great vision, if only he had looked with prudence at the agreements he drew up and surveyed the landscape he was creating, before stumbling down the mountain head. While they survive the future will be under constant threat and that is, for me at any rate, as good a reason as any to vigilantly track them on the social media radar.
Now to things Celtic. I give my unqualified support to Brendan Rogers. I am sure he cares a lot. Well, I did get an email from him and as much as I was tempted, I did keep my hand tightly on my wallet as I sniffed the hand of Peter in it somewhere. I hope he fulfills the promise everyone sees in him. I am a doubter but you will never hear me ask for his head no matter. I am not in the camp that lays all bets on his Celtic supporting and, even less, Irish background. I do not see these as absolute attributes of a Celtic manager. In the past there have been those with and without who delivered and failed to do so. I want him to be a strong, his own man with both the board and/or Peter Lawwell and/or Dermot Desmond and definitely with the players and to build a decent team. I said of Ronny Deila and I will say of Brendan, I think we are over-optimistic, if not foolish, to believe we ought to easily win a place in the group stages of the C.L. So, please let us not judge the man on the qualifiers. For God’s sake give him a chance. Like I said, I am not as yet convinced about him but I confess not to know who we could afford to bring in that is better qualified. I have to say, without Martin O’Neil to keep him firmly in check, I was almost as terrified of Keane being appointed as I am of The Rangers support. However, there is definitely a real breath of fresh air circulating around the Celtic blogs and the comments. It is additionally good to be alive in the football world this day in spite of the terrors surrounding us. A gut out of the squad, a few more young guns coming in and a couple of sound experienced players in the transfer market and my happy days could become heavenly, just like being in paradise.

Pensionerbhoy well said sir, your posts as always a joy to read.
Brendan will be the manager we have craved since Martin.
I believe this. A young squad he has but with a couple of tweaks here and there, and the squad should be able to get at least one go in the champions league over the next two years.
Good thing about Brendan he will change formations to suit.
Stubbsy showed on Saturday how easy it is to believe in your players to adapt to a change of tactic when required. Ronnie couldn’t do this. He didn’t have the tactical ability himself to believe it.
We had the players to beat Malmo, just didn’t gave the manager
HH

I would not argue with any of that. One of Ronny’s biggest faults was his either reluctance or inability to see the desperate need for change in a game. His plan B would seem to have been plan 0. I also hope Brendan puts an end to this ridiculous rotation ideology. Managers like Benitez and many others, including Ronny, have taken what was originally meant to be replacements for injured players so that the teams were not disadvantaged in a game, to a circus level where squads are like a rafter of turkeys on stand-by in case the chick on the blind date does not turn up. Consistency must coincide with regularity. Successful teams – ours in the past and Barca, Real, PSG or Bayern today all play the same players regularly until they know each other without thinking. Our lot, especially the trillions in midfield, must be struggling to remember each other’s names never mind how they play and where. This simply has to stop. We need to get players playing regularly with each other and getting to know the capabilities of each and how he thinks and reacts. There were times when the Lions did not even need to look up to know exactly where a teammate was. I also would like Brendan to instill in the players the basic rule that what happens off the ball determines what will happen on it. Let the ball do the work but be ready at all times for what it will do either in attack or defence. I have to say, I was quite impressed by Brendan’s interpretation of how we should play in his interview on CTV. It is good to know someone is listening to me !!!
Thank you for your complementary words. It is all and overblown ego and a bloated swelled head like mine needed. However, we old fellas have few pleasures in life and just being acknowledged makes our day.

I did try to reply but postman Pat seems to nicking the comments again 🙂

Reagan, Doncaster and Ogilvie campaigned for sevco to be in the top flight, they said it would increase publicity worldwide. Well they got their wish big time, Scottish football is making headlines again. The journalists will deflect the blame to the team in green and white as usual, playing the ‘both at fault’ and ‘as bad as each other’ cards. We’ve put up with this for generations. Hordes of huns rampage through the East End and Gallowgate while the police commend them for good behaviour, they riot every time they get beat in a big game and blame everyone and everthing else. They are the common denominator every time there is violence. They truly are Scotland’s Shame.
Glad to see Rodgers unveiled at Parkhead but, considering his opening games are a mix of CL qualifiers and the games against the worlds best, I want us to be patient with him. Quality teams aren’t put together in weeks.
Caption: “Get me Trainor, i’ve got a job for him”.
Welcome Brendan, you can see your thrilled to be here, and will do all you can to be successful. A sense good times ahead.
Well couldn’t quite believe the way the bbc put their version of events on Saturday.
Hibs fans invaded the pitch attacking Rangers players and supporters.
Must have missed the zombie trying to grab a really young hibs fan.
Must have missed a Ranjerks blazer trying to kick young Henderson.
Must have missed the zombies flooding on and in packs attacking individual hibs fans.
Still maybe I’m just paranoid
HH
Punish Hibs!, we are innocent!, demand independent inquiry!, double standards and deflection, they weren’t so happy to have all their shenanigans investigated when it came to EBTs and manipulation but they always were bad losers. Had to invade in 1965 when we won the LC and laps of honour were banned, they are always the Lowest Common Denominator when there is trouble. Of course this all helps to get Magic Hat off the hook, hardly any discussion about the actual game itself. Wish they would die and disappear for ever.
Ditto.
I have been saying ever since the huns died that when the time came and the new club made their way into the top tier that the filthy scum would have scores to settle and the match on Saturday is just the beginning. I have no doubt the people who live in the area around Easter Road are relieved Hibs never made it to the premier league as mayhem would have ensued in the streets when the scum visited. I await with trepidation their return to Celtic Park and am only too glad I will not be there to see it.
HH
What and how did the blazers kick on henderson come about? Havnt seen it
Delbhoy
One thing for sure, you will never find out from the Scottish media. They saw nuffin except at the Celtic – oh sorry! their mistake – Hibs end. By the way, you do know the smokies were thrown in by Celtic fans as they passed Hampden and caused such fear and mahem, there are now hundreds of Sevco fans in intensive care for trauma and burns. I myself think the causes are a combination of over a decade of gullibleness and a lifetime of blazing fury.
H H
Delbhoy
Was making his way up to see his parents in the stand, when the thug in the blazer tried to kick him.
HH
Orange Drones. Why didn’t I think of that Stewart !
The Hibs went over the top in their thousands?
They ran towards the Rangers end, attacked the players, and goaded and taunted the Rangers fans.
A tiny minority of our fans ran on to protect their players from more beatings.
Geez it is shameful, and no wonder no one put their name to it.
Over the top, they ran onto a football pitch in celebration, after waiting 114 years. Not the Somme Ffs
This wasn’t a battlefield it was a football pitch.
They came onto the pitch, the gallant few,to protect, aye right.
Out of the Thousands that came onto the pitch, how many actually went up to their end. Not many I could see, the rest were just happy to be on the pitch of their greatest triumph for 114 years.
So it was a minority of both sets of fans who shamed their clubs, not the thousands who went onto the pitch, or the ones who remained in the stands.
Biggest cunt of all is of course the guy trying to grab the kid shocking.
rumour doon the pub celtic are signing joey barton on monday my fuck would that upset the zombies just do it celtic ha ha

somebody told me last week he is takin the cunt oot them a hope so
jimmybee, I would say appox. 5% of the Hibs fans on the pitch were looking for trouble, whereas 100% of Newco fans on the pitch were looking for trouble. I can’t remember the powers that be, being so concerned about attacks on footballing staff when Neil Lennon was attacked!!
Hopefully that will make the wee man more determined to come back ad have them. Just watched Celtic TV with Brendan in the stadium , holy shit amazing!. No harm to Ronny but today is what Celtic is about, that was ike martin O’Neil times again, peter see how we respond to ambition. To see a world class manager, a celtic man standing there delighted and overwhelmed , singing youl never walk alone with a scarve and waving to his family brought a tear to my eye. I think the sleeping giant just woke up and I can’t fucking wait! Hail hail everyone
Having been in Edinburgh since Thursday and talking to a number of fans who were there (Hibs, Celtic and even 1 Hearts fan); I have to say this is probably the most truthful piece written on this that I have read so far. Yes there were a small number of Hibs fans that goaded the Hard, done-by, revenge seeking Hoonz (HDRSH), but the reaction of a couple hundred HDRSH with pure unadulterated violence was completely uncalled for.
What concerns me more however has been the presence of Police Scotland in and around the Old Town of Edinburgh. Hardly a single one Thursday, Friday & Sat, but holy crap they are everywhere since, not quite on every corner, but getting close documenting every working class person wearing green and white in their little black books. Having been away for a while I have to admit I didn’t really believe how bad things had gotten, but now my eyes have been opened.
Delbhoy, the problem was Peter kept telling Dermot, everything was OK. The titles were being won and we were in a good way financially.
What turned it on its head, was the way their directors reacted in the main stand at the semi. Their lack of class was an eye opener for Dermot, and their hatred of Celtic, and all we stood for, he was not going to walk away from this.
He got hold of Lawwell and tore him to shreds, hence a private firm was involved in the selection process, with Brendan top of the list.
The downsizing is over, dominance will come, and the laughter of our children will be our victory.
HH
You said it. Cheers tae that Jimmybee!
I am completely over the Fool Moon.
Welcome to Paradise Brendan.
Hail hail mate , dermot has finally stepped up and the orcs are in meltdown, doesent get better
Sorry Uralius, I’ve been working in my taxi Saturday and Sunday and never seen much of the polis on the streets. Tamsons bar on Easter Road last night was heaving but no cops in sight.

I have been in the old town and saw them down Grass Market (2 cars), Hunter Square for over an hour documenting a group of Hibs supporters, through Waverly station there were triple the number compared to Thursday when I arrived and Friday when my mother arrived. Perhaps it’s just coincidence or they are after someone or something else, but that’s what I’ve seen. Although I will admit I didn’t see any down Portobello beach this morning. Also I have not been anywhere near Easter Road.
Furthermore I was down the Grassmarket on Sat same time and nothing, not a single Bobby.
Uralius,
You should have said you were in the Grassmarket on Saturday, me and my mate were there until 9 then jumped in a taxi down to Leith.
I replied to one of your comments a couple days ago (Sat) saying I was staying in the Old Town. No worries I am sure we will be back soon.

I can assure you Mr.King, I did sacrifice the proscribed amount of goats.

I can assure you Mr.King, I had my best men on the job; but there wasn’t enough time to give our team two penalties.

I can assure you Mr.King, there will be plenty of honest mistakes next season to make up for this.

Don’t worry mr King. I’ve a couple of nice Protestant rent boys on the way to mine.. There’s more to life than football
Thought Brendan looked a bit outside his body during the interview. Head hadn’t arrived yet. Hope too god they leave him too his own devices. Of course spl is a step down from epl. He should just say so.
he did say so but what he also said that coming to Celtic was massive , one of the worlds biggest football clubs, hence how can it be a step down to take charge of Celtic ?
I was much impressed with the comments coming from Brendan,ok its still much to early to judge but.Im here for the long haul(12 month rolling contract aside),speaks volumes.I want to work with a smaller squad,is good news, freeing up salaries and providing funds,i like to vary my tactics to suite the circumstances, shows a tactical knowledge, missing from the past.I will add 2/3 better qualility players to the team, recognizes whats been missing. My dialogue with Dermot, convinced me to come shows a closeness to the power source.Well done to Dermot for acknowledging and acting on the necessary change that has been required.
Tomorrow the Res12 ads come out watch the lack of acknowledgement from the Scottish Media and more deflection,Fuck them we will never give up on this.
Justice for the TIC.WE will overcome there bigotry and ignorance.
