Stunning news emerged after a top level meeting last night between the SFA, and representatives of Glasgows two giant football clubs.
With Rangers desperately in need of cash, it’s been decided to sell Ibrox Stadium to finance the clubs regeneration and move in over at Celtic Park on a permanent basis.
And the beaks have nodded approvingly at the idea!
An SFA spokesman said;
Theres no reason for the two biggest clubs in Scotland not to share. It happens all over Europe, and with Rangers regeneration neccessary for the well being of the game up here, it’s a fantastic idea to not only get them back to where they belong, with a much needed cash injection, but it will bring sponsiors to the door in their hundreds when the Old Firm game is brought back to the table.
ย One of the high ranking men at Ibrox agreed;
When the idea was first discussed, we didn’t think that supporters would go for it, but the more we thought about it, the more we saw it was the way forward. It’s a chance to bring some much needed capital to the club, without relying on outside investors, and a fabulous opportunity to re-invent the Rangers brand in todays market place.ย
Over at Celtic Park, a spokesman echoed;
It’s time for us to lend a show of support to a club which is a big part of Scottish football, and for everyone to put the past behind us and move into the future together.
ย We’ll bring you more when we get it….
1st April. Very good.
Hahaha.
Just for a minute thought Iwas back at school
You almost had me there.
We heard this over here as well, but Culloden had been used before! Celtic had bought ground in the past, somewhere in Cambuslang, but this was vetoed!
On other news, Fat Swally was offered the Arsenal job, on the grounds of he makes an arse of things!
Enjoy the up coming weekend and hopefully we’ll get that 7-1 scoreline for the Bhoys on Friday (yes, Friday!!)
AND FROM ME A RESOUNDING
FCUK OFF
AND FROM ME A RESOUNDING
But would they be honorable and trustworthy to pay the rent ?
An idea like this was floated out several years ago for the financially troubled club to ground share with Partick Thistle, but on reflection, the catch phrase “Firhill for thrills” just didn’t seem appropriate for the stricken and financially strapped club/clumpany.
Right away I thought “that will be shining bright ,” then I remembered what day it was. You nearly had me going though.
I wouldn’t trust a toilet with them, they’d hawk the soap at the first opportunity
Hahahahaha I believed this at first.
