As for Lenny and the team,no doubles or trebles,just the league.Maybe I’m easily pleased,but if you gave me winning the league every season AND qualifying for Group Stages,say for the next 10 years,I would take it.
We should be winning trebles,but the CL qualifiers are the be all and end all.A lack .of a quality target man,and Brown’s suspension,cost us dearly in Groups.
While the Zombies are where they are,overall I am happy with this season. COYBIG.

Very interesting summary and my emotions are not far from your own. I just would add something about the state of the art trickle of first team players coming out of Lennoxtown. Surely there is someone better than Pukki, Balde, Boerrigter and a player that can come out of the treatment room more than 3 times a year to take over from Forrest. If we can not produce better potential than the current stand-by jammy dodgers, then Lennoxtown should turned into a players reject outlet. Very disappointing. Almost on a par with the clubs treatment of fans this season. All for one and one for all as long as you are all for one. Has to improve for next season or “There may be trouble ahead…(if we don’t) face the music and dance.

Its a great question…I wonder..do they weans still use Barrowfield…surface might be more forgiving that the suburbs. We almost rival Arsenal for repetative spells of injury
Aims for season
1) Qualify for Champions league: done
2)Play well in group stages: Fail
3)Win League, easily a lot o good football, a lot of goals
4)Domestic Cups:Fail
Worst thing: Not having any strikers good enough for Champions League Group stages.
Best thing: The recent form in this calendar year makes me feel we could do better in next years Group Stages (If we get in)

I think it may be more a question of if we can keep the core of this team and find a striker who can actually put the ball in the net. And he does not have to come from some place like Uzbekistan.

I agree with what you say but until we actually lose anyone I am assuming we will not be weaker (Big assumption I know)right now all though we can improve all areas, we are not deficient in any, maybe thin on cover for left back and strikers, I would hope to see more like Young Henderson getting a chance next year , especially in the league cup etc.
Id take money for commons too slow for the big league, hooper snoddy yes please, fletcher too. Pukki will do ok but if we find the receipt money back please , dirk diggler return to sender .

but hope were using this “Armageddon” period, until the Orcs re-group and return in whatever patched up cut and shut,glue and sticky tape zombie Rangers version of the old club they become, to REALLY invest in the youth set up, its hard to gauge because its all about developing the individuals whilst getting teams to play a certain style,and at Celtic, winning trophy’s (which ironically should mean less at youth level). This CL £ and £ from the occasional gem we dig up and sell hopefully lets say 1/3 is re-invested in youth.
we might never get a chance like this again, the hoofed ones will return (the SFA/SPFL will make sure of that)and we could be ready for them with a flourishing ready made team from the youth set up
