Celtic PLC Ltd are proud to announce the appointment of Mr James Traynor as their new Head of Communications.
At a Supporters Conference today, Celtic CEO Peter Lawwell was visibly shaking with excitement when he announced to hundreds of fans that Traynor has been appointed to the position of Media Head at Celtic Park.
Lawwell denied recent rumours of incriminating photos being the true reason for Traynors appointment and countered “James Traynor is a legend in Scottish Football communications. James comes to us after leaving a company which had the most talked about IPO in Scottish commercial history. If that is not communications success then I don’t know what is”. ย
Having completed gardening leave following his recent mutually agreed exit from Ibrox International Holding Company Ltd, Traynor was not at the Press Conference. His appointment will not commence until after Lunchtime on April 1st. Given Traynor’s lunches are legendary, he is not expected to be seen at Celtic Park any time soon.
Is that after his lamb lunch?
Not a bad idea. HH
Marvellous decision. Now we can develop the brand worldwide. Another masterstroke by Lawwell.
It being AprilFools day, such a move would be appropriate.Would the title “excommunications” not be abetter one?
…and a Happy April Fools Day to you too.

Sorry I am so late reading this but I was really busy getting the spaghetti crop in before the heat of a Northern England summer. In the distance I could see another big crack in the Hamilton mausoleum at Strathclyde Park and am lucky to be alive given all the fallout I had to dodge from flying elephants – oh, sorry, that was last night on the way home from the pub.
