Celtic Diary Tuesday June 6: They Have To Write Something

As we said earlier, with the exception of players who aren’t very good, no one takes the first deal on the table at this time of year…

Virgil van Dijk now looks set to join Liverpool, and not Manchester city, and he’s more or less said he used to always choose the reds when he played subbuteo. Bookies have suspended betting, daft really, as Chelsea haven’t made their move yet.

Moussa Demebele is set to talk to Milan again, even though there appears little evidence he has spoken to them in the first place. The Frenchman featured as a substitute last night for the French under 20s.

As far as I know, they were playing Albania, and not at the San Siro.

And Johnny Hayes has googled things to do in Cardiff . Thats if no one else puts in a bid.

As for Celtic, well, all our guys are on holiday.

Stories about the permanent signing of Patrick Roberts still pervade. Its the only player that the media know Rodgers is definitely interested in, and so by harping on about this one, they can claim to at least have got one right, if he actually signs.

Which is looking more likely as its gone very quiet.

Oh, wait.

Everyones on holiday.

As an example of piss poor reportage and the transfer silly season of shite, lets look at the Evening times…

Virgil van Dijk could fund Patrick Roberts on a permanent deal to Celtic

Thats nice of him…but there are rules on dual ownership.

Virgil van Dijk could help fund Celtic’s move to land Patrick Roberts on a permanent deal.

Ah, he’s only going to help. Miserable Sod.

The former Hoops defender has told Liverpool they are his preferred choice of club as the Dutch defender looks to quit Southampton – and bag Celtic a tidy windfall in the process.

Image result for No shit

The 25-year-old was also wanted by Chelsea and Manchester City but it emerged last night that Liverpool were favourites to land Van Dijk in a staggering deal that is believed to be worth around £60m.

Celtic have a 10% sell-on clause from their sale of Van Dijk to Southampton two years ago meaning that an additional £6m of revenue could be available to Brendan Rodgers

It’s 15% of any profit.

Talks between the player’s representative, Liverpool and City are expected to take place over the coming days but with betting firms suspending deals on the player going to Anfield, it seems certain that he will be playing his football on Merseyside next season.

Until his agent asks Chelsea what they have to offer.

Liverpool will make Van Dijk not only their record signing but also their highest paid player if the £200k a week deal goes through.

The final destination is an irrelevance for Celtic, though. It is the player’s sell-on clause that will bank the Parkhead side further funds and with Rodgers keen to secure Roberts on a permanent deal after a successful 18 months in Glasgow, the news of Van Dijk’s switch is timely.

Celtic had offered £5m for Roberts but City are believed to be looking for a higher fee as they seek to recoup their initial outlay for the player. They agreed a £12m fee for Fulham for Roberts although with £8m up front and the rest add-ons that are not believed to have been met, there is a suggestion that the gap could be negotiated.

They didn’t pay £8m up front. They didn’t pay anything like that.

But hey, its the Scottish MSM.

What do you expect?

The fact is the relationship between Celtic and Manchester City will allow for any move to be smoother than if it were another club we were dealing with.

Away from all that, Scott Brown is looking ahead to the Scotland England game… and mentioned something that we all noticed last season.

“Last year I wasn’t fit and not enjoying it. That’s what happens when you are struggling with injuries. I thought my career was coming to an end as it was one injury after another.

Can’t say I noticed…

Looking ahead to the game on Saturday, it’ll be worth watching because there are more Celtic players involved than usual.

Other than that, its still the SFAs team, and with the Craig Whyte trail about to be concluded, then its time to remember exactly what the SFA is…

Its getting close to that time when we can kickstart the Resolution 12 issue…

Which brings me to an EBT recipient, and perhaps an example of why he’s got his finances in a tizzy..

They were third.

Then again, there’s quite a lot of space filling going on in the papers.

A lot of , shall we say, variable opinion..

Report explains why AC Milan want second meeting with Celtic’s Moussa Dembele despite not expecting to sign this summer

Don’t know why we bother.

There will be more twists and turns as the summer progresses, which should be fun.

Meantime, follow @James doleman for the latest in events from the High Court, as we are about to see the results of a long and thorough police investigation…

However, if you fancy a laugh, we could cause havoc with this, which appears to be a desperate appeal for funding for an entity with reduced income streams..

All this talk of AC Milan having spoken with Dembele’s representatives – I’m assuming that these preliminary discussions have taken place with Celtic’s blessing, otherwise wouldn’t I be correct in saying that the player is being tapped, albeit indirectly? Would I also be correct in stating that tapping up a player is against FIFA’s rules?..

Or is it just more horse shit from the, ahem, media?.. YOU DECIDE!

The guy big jock thought was a weak link has passed away.
RIP Sarti, you will be fondly remembered by the hoops,as the guy who stopped yer team from taking one helluva beating.
EVERYONE at Celtic is saddened to hear of the death of Inter Milan’s legendary goalkeeper, Giuliano Sarti, who has passed away at the age of 83.
He played for Inter Milan from 1963 to ’68 and was part of the Inter side who faced Celtic in the 1967 European Cup final in Lisbon, producing an outstanding performance that day in the Estadio Nacional.
During his five years with Inter Milan, Giuliano Sarti won the European Cup twice – in 1964 and ’65 – along with two Intercontinental Cups and two Serie A titles, adding to the honours he had previously won during nine years with Fiorentina – Serie A, the Coppa Italia and the European Cup-Winners’ Cup. He was also capped eight times by Italy.
The thoughts and prayers of Celtic Football Club are with Giuliano Sarti’s family, friends, his former team-mates and everyone at Inter Milan at this sad time.

The papers simply don’t have a clue what is happening. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if Big peter and the Boardroom boys sell Dmbele even if he doesn’t want to go. I don’t believe that they are going to try too hard to get Patrick Roberts. Not when Jonny Hayes night sign and he will be 7 million cheaper. Celtic have never in my lifetime strengthened when they have been on top. Doing things on the cheap is the way the board thinks unless forced to cshell out, like with the appointment of Rodgers. Even then they were more concerned about the season book renewals and realised it would pay for itself. Not the same this summer. We have an unexpected 30 million bonus just sitting waiting to be flogged and the cash banked. Keeping him might be risky what happens if he is a flash in the pan? What happens if he breaks his leg? So what we don’t qualify for the CL we will have the cash anyway. Better to bank the money now than risk not qualifying and not getting 30 mil for him. Only thing is the dummies in the stand might be a bit miffed but we will already have their cash. What they should be terrified of is the manager getting angry and taking the first big job offered Plus the better players might decide that the place is going nowhere and jump ship as well. Especially if their agents advise them that the big money offers need to be grabbed with both hands.

Masonic Lying — “A Spirit that loves wisdom and contemplates the Truth close at hand, is forced to disguise it, to induce the multitudes to accept it … Fictions are necessary to the people … the truth must be kept secret and the masses need a teaching proportional to the imperfect reason.” [Morals and Dogma, p. 103] In other words the masses need to be lied to. But, Pike is talking about lying only to the non-masonic population, surely; we must assume he would not counsel Masonic leaders to lie deliberately to lower-level Masonic brethren, right? After all, those lower-level brethren so look up to their Masonic superiors as to place them on a very high pedestal. Surely, no Mason would deliberately lie to his brethren?

Listen to Pike again: “Masonry, like all the Religions, all the Mysteries, Hermeticism and Alchemy, CONCEALS ITS SECRETS FROM ALL* except the Adepts and Sages, or the Elect, and uses false explanations and misinterpretations of its symbols to mislead those who deserve only to be misled; to conceal the Truth, which it calls Light, from them, and to draw them away from it … (Emphasis added.)

So Masonry jealously conceals its secrets and intentionally leads conceited interpreters astray. (Morals and Dogma, p. 104-5.)

Of course we are going to take big money for players. We simply can’t afford not too. Our job is securing the title,in one of the poorest financial leagues in Europe.
For us just to get to the champions league,is now a greater achievement than ever before. We don’t have the money to compete. Take Southampton for instance, playing in the premiership,,a cup final ,top 10 finish, yet every season they lose their best players, why because players want to get as much money as they possibly can out of what might be a short career path, they also want champions league football. If Celtic can get champions league football,we can always attract a Virgil,Wanyama etc, before the big guns come calling with their millions.
I believe if Brendan truly wants Roberts it will be done or any other player for that matter.
Here we go 10 in a row.

Jimmy,

I agree on Roberts. If BR wants him and he wishes to come then the Board will not be the reason that he does not join us. What may happen is that some team like Southampton may outbid us. One tactic we have is to give MC first dibbs on Dembele.

I think(hope) that we have entered a new era with BR.

Whytey’s doing ‘walking away’, Findlay gets to look like a champion of the people, though he’s still of ‘The Peepil’ , Murray gets to rip up all Scotland with his diggers in his endless quest for more gold, Knighthood intact, The Grand Architect of the whole scam from start to finish, and his ‘legacy’ at Rangers still as sacred as the day is long.

This trial and all surrounding it have proven just how deep and how high these branches go.

If Findlay had really wanted to expose the lot of it, his ‘key witness’ slated for last Tuesday would have exposed every thread of the corruption, but, alas, hewas pulled from the list at the very last minute, even though he’d just ‘jetted in’ for the occasion.

For those of you who claim to ‘know nothing’ about ‘the Masons’, you should take a peek under the bonnet fo what went in this trial, to see for yourselves how they operate.
Lying, as we already know, is second nature to the handshakers, especially when it comes to the masses, as can be seen in the doctrine espoused here:

‘Fictions are necessary to the people …The truth must be kept secret and the masses need a teaching proportional to the imperfect reason. (i.e., lied to)

– Albert Pike, ‘Morals & Dogma’, the guy whose statue stands solemnly in the Masonic Temple in Washington DC.

You know, right next to The White House, amidst all the other Masonic artefacts strewn across that shady city.

Anyway, the roots and the branches of this ‘immoral dogma’ is all over this farce of a trial, this puppet show thrown together to give the impression that ‘SOMETHING IS BEING DONE’ when everyone and his blind non-Masonic dog knows that it’s all just a charade, to kid on to everyone that they’re in any way fit for purpose.

So the result is in for the CW trial. Not guilty on both counts. What have we learned from the evidence presented? One issue is who is the real dupe in the whole episode……… White, Murray(SDM) or society?
Mr White is a free man with a crippling debt of at least 17 million plus the costs of his defence. He is still the man who oversaw the demise of the Rangers. His reputation is still damaged at the end of the trial. With a cute manoeuvre SDM has transferred the debt from his plaything, Rangers, via the Bank to Mr White. When the music stopped who was left without a chair? Bankruptcy looms for Mr White after some deft transferring of assets to some below ground location, IMHO.
Sir David, on the other hand, has assumed the image of an honest dupe. He was either duped by CW or by his lackeys who did not provide due diligence! The BBC reportage of the result of the trial does not cover Sir David’s motivation for concluding the deal to sell Rangers…i.e. the desire to get his metals business back from the bank for the same price that he got for selling his interest in the stricken club! Announcing that would not sit well with Sir David’s image of the dupe in this sad exploitation of society.
The dupes in this situation, and also in what is happening today, is Joe and Jane public who have to pay the bills for corporate vanity and institutionalised bigotry while White and Murray slide out the backdoor! Shame, shame and shame on them.

Weered,
Whyte did not need to testify. The prosecution case was weak. At no time was there an “Ah-Ha” moment presented by the crown. The fact that the defence called no witnesses shows that the Crown’s case was shot full of holes.

I pray that CW sells his story to the gutter press and spills the beans. How much contact do he have with SDM before the deal? SDM testified little to none. If CW shows otherwise in the Daily Mial/Sun/Star/Gutter, what price a return trip to court for the knight? Also was Findlay smart enough to set up a lawsuit against some of the witnesses? He needs the funds.

‘Your’ is the second person possessive adjective, used to describe something as belonging to you, and is always followed by a noun or gerund.

‘You’re’ is the contraction of “you are” and is often followed by the present participle (the verb form ending in -ing).

And your presence on this page means that you’re about to find out 😉

Sir Minty was desperate to get MIM metals back for a £1.
To get that he needed someone to play,up step craigy bhoy.
He introduced craigy to ticketus to ensure the transfer of funds to lloyds could be met. Ticketus might not have known craigy bhoy had the money, but they accepted Mintys word on him.
Craigy bhoy got the ticketus money Lloyds got their money back, and Murray got his business back for a pound.
Only one scammer I can see in this, and it isn’t the bank ticketus or craigy.
There was no need for craigy to go on the stand,no reason for Findlay to allow a chance of hope for the crown to put him under pressure. He played a stormer.
Craigy was unlucky that he inherited McCoist, according to the Charlotte fakes tapes he wanted rid,but couldn’t,as he needed his support with the fans. He only hoped he could at least beat Malmo, and if he could then he had breathing space.
Malmo was a disaster, and this left Craigy with no other way than cva. Sadly for him HMRC by this time had enough of Rangers.
The cva not given liquidation done. Dead 2012.
Murray and McCoist to blame for the demise and death of Rangers. Oh how sweet that is.
Now what happens. It was proved that HMRC had in fact an ongoing liability, so the UEFA licence should not have been issued. Over to you SFA explain please.

Ralph,

Maybe I am just an aul’ cynic or a bampot conspiracy theorist, but one way or another I am far from convinced Craig Whyte’s acquittal will lead to anything further. For a start, I am somewhat suspicious about Findlay’s ploy all along. Was his intention to end the trial prematurely all along before too much could be revealed. I see a recognised expert lawyer receiving plaudits for his legal dexterity when, in fact, it was obvious, even to the legally uninitiated like myself, that there was no substance in the prosecution case from day one. Their very own witnesses appeared to be purposely self-defeating, providing more evidence on behalf of the defendant than condemning him. I accept that the QC’s agility can lie as much in knowing what is said and when it is appropriate to say it, but Findlay was just a tad too assured for my liking when he decided not to call anyone and effectively ended the trial at one stroke of silence. Was he assured at that stage of an acquittal and given the nod to halt any further revelations lest he further damage his old club’s – and, no doubt, his new rejuvenated club’s – sinking reputation? Or, before the SFA were dragged, no doubt screaming, into the degenerating affray? Was it his intention all along to make it look like true justice was being served while keeping the all-inclusive evidence under wraps, away from the prying eyes of bampots like Res 12 or waiting club boards? Was there a danger such evidence might impact beyond acceptability on past and present residents of Ibrox and infect every sinew of Scottish football administration and its association with his once beloved club – deep down, has he actually severed such ties? Well, I am long in the tooth and have witnessed the boils and blisters of Scottish football for decades and, for me, the pus has never been removed. In fact, I believe that, under fire, it is festering and swelling as never before and there are doctors of intrigue at every level on hand with the bandages of secrecy for keeping it well and truly covered up. I wish I had your faith, Ralph, but too many years of inaction create a lot of doubt.

You won’t get an answer to your quite excellent musings on here, PB, but your astute observations on the charades these guys play on us are absolutely spot on, and history is filled with the evidence to prove it.

You might even have got some of the thicker elements who are incapable pf thinking for themselves to be wondering about what you’ve said here for quite some time to come.

It’s really quite incredible how the corrupt shenanigans of a largely irrelevant Scottish fitba ‘club’ can reveal the inner workings and overall modus operandi of an international organization that is running the same con job on all of humanity, with even the so-called ‘Celtic fans’ refusing to see or believe it.

PB well written sir, but Findlay was there for one thing only,to get his client a not guilty. He did so with the minimum of fuss.
The case that was brought to court, was the final throw,by the masons of Scotland. It was a disgraceful use of the public purse, those involved should be ashamed.
We probably wanted more, from this trial, but all Whyte wanted was his freedom, this he got.

Raging that Whyte has been found not guilty. Was hoping for a huge fine and then another fun episode as he tried to raise the money.
